Heaven POVI woke up at 10:01am in the morning. I got out of bed, I took a shower and washed my hair. I went back to my room and put on some white shorts a white tank top and some fuzzy socks. I put my braids in a bun. I walked down the hall. Into the kitchen where I seen my mom and dad. It was like I seen him every blue moon.
"Hey mama." I tell her as I made me a plate of bacon, eggs, and toast. I sat down at the table and ate as they argued.
"You need to take care of your child,". My mom whispered I acted as if I couldn't hear her by being on my phone, but still ease dropped.
"You know I'm busy providing for yall already, shit I just bought her Jordan's, them $200 dollar shoes."
"Shit, fuck the money you never come here for real, unless you want sex or giving her money. Aye, take your food and go in your room," my mom said tapping me.
I nodded and grabbed my plate and went halfway down the hall and continued to listen to their conversation.
"You need to take care of your daughter Rico," My mother said a little louder since she thought I was in the other room. "That's all I'm gonna say."
"Man, I'm so sick of this shit Tameka!"
"I'm sick of you ugly ass too! But, you have a daughter for the last 16 motherfucking years and not once have you tried to be in her life, yeah you drop some money but any nigga can do that! You need to be there....I'm not gonna beg you, and neither is she, she is almost grown and your gonna miss what you could have had." My mother said. As I sighed and walked back in there with an empty plate.
"Uhhh.....Heaven, you wanna do something today?" He asked me.
"Uh sure." I said as he nodded.
"Well, you can get ready."

I was in the car with my dad and it was awkward. We never really hang out so this was very weird.
Plus, the radio was off so it was very, very weird.
“So, you still in school?” He asked me scratching the back of his head, while steering with his other.
“Yeah,” I said chuckling.
“Good, good stay in school you learn about books and shit.”
I just felt so confused about what he said but I was gonna leave it alone.
“You still like crayons?”
“No, Daddy,”
“You sure?”He said looking at me kinda sideways.
“What I'ma do with crayons in the 11th grade?” I asked him as he just shrugged.
“Kid stuff,” He mumbled.
I was kinda getting sick of him. Maybe we do need to hang out more cause he's still thinking I'm like 5 or 8.
