Try

I really wonder why I try,
You never cared so you lied.
If I left u wouldn't notice,
Because our friendship was hopeless.
The world goes on,
Even with me gone.

So if I left would you care?
Would you even be aware?
Who would listen to your trials,
Or fill your day with smiles?

Of course you have others though.
I'm just someone you outgrow.
You have the world behind you,
You could could always start anew.

So leave me behind,
Leave me in the blind.
Without a word,
I'll say it's absurd.
But in my heart I'll know,
That this is just how it will go.

Everyone leaves, this much I say.
Because I know that no one will stay.
Goodbye my "friend"
But we shouldn't pretend.

Don't act like you were there,
Because you were just empty air.
I finally get your scheme,
And I'll say it was quite supreme.

You used and threw me away,
Like I would return one day.
But that me is no more,
I'm heading for the door.

I'm free from your abuse,
And I'll finally get to choose.
