DANNYS P.O.V

So I walked out of class, put my books in my locker and didn’t worry about grabbing any food and headed to the back of the oval.

“Hey Danny! Come look at this!” I heard my mate Kane say.

“Nah, later” I said as I was trying to walk faster to the back of the oval.

“What? Is there something more important?” He asked me with an annoyed look on his face.

“Nah, nah of course not!” I replied, but of course I did! I needed to see Hannah.

Before I knew it the bell had gone and recess was over. I felt like a complete jerk! How could I do that to her? She’s just so amazing, what if I ruined my chances?

As I walked to my locker to get my books I saw her getting her books out and it seemed as though she had been crying. All I could do was blame myself!

I slowly walked up, and stoped right next to her.

“What do you want?” She annoyingly asked. She didn’t even look at me. I didn’t know what to say, I felt sick to my stomach, I didn’t want to say something wrong.

“Umm, I would just like to apologise for standing you up just before. My mate Kane wouldn’t let me go anywhere, and I didn’t want to say anything to him.” I replied. I mean telling her the truth was what I was supposed to do. Right?

“Why? Am I an embarrassment to you?” She said as she angrily turned her head to look at me.

“No! Of course not!” Why would she think that? I guess it’s kind of true in a way. A guy like me is supposed to be with someone like Jenna Smith, the head cheerleader. I mean, that’s what society thinks. Before I could say anything else she slammed her locker and started walking off.

“HANNAH I LIKE YOU!’ I shouted. I don’t know what came over me. I just blurted it out in front of everyone. It just came out without thinking. She quickly flicked her head around and gave me a cute half smile. At that exact moment I didn’t care what anyone else thought. She was the girl I wanted to be with! At that exact moment I couldn’t see anyone but her. Hannah Scott, the most beautiful girl.

I slowly walked up to her and looked into her eyes. It took me back to the party, the first time I told her my feelings for her. The butterflies I had going crazy in my stomach.

“Did you really mean it?” She asked with a huge smile, as she looked up to me.

“Yes, I do. Hannah Scott…..” I paused for a second, I felt like a nervous wreck.

“Will you be my girlfriend?” I asked the hardest question I have ever asked. So many things were going through my head. What would happen if she said no? What if she just doesn’t answer at all?

Yes!” She replied as she was nodding her head, with a huge grin on her face. I couldn’t help but kiss her. I could hear the whispers around me, but I didn’t care. Hannah Scott was finally my girlfriend.

Hannah. The girl I have been crushing on for practically my whole life. She said yes.

“Do you want me to walk you to class?” I asked her, as I slid my hand against hers, interlocking our fingers.

“Yeah, I’d like that” She said as we started to walk through the hall way.

As soon as I took her to class, I grabbed my books and hurried to English.

“Dude, what is wrong with you?” Kane whispered as he waked my arm.

“What do you mean what is wrong with me?” I questioned.

“You and Hannah? Why are you going out with her? She is the biggest loser! She’s such a freak man!”

He rudely laughed. I didn’t know what to say, Kane was my best friend. And all I wanted to do was punch him in the face.

“You’re such a dick!” I said to him. I didn’t realise how loud I said it till the whole class turned around.

“Me? A dick? Well aren’t you just full of it today Danny?” He shouted as he stood up and moved closer to me.

“BOYS! Principles office now!” Mr Logan interrupted. I picked up my books and left. I have never hated someone so much! How could he say that about Hannah?
