It All Has To End

1st chp

so this is the 1st story i've written it's going to be about 15chps or so tell me how it sounds so far and if i should continue or change something to improve  oh yeah the story starts off slow around the 4th ch or so things will start to pick up.nothing much more to say except enjoy and comment.oh and it's a bit rough i finished lokk over later

I kicked open the wooden, white ,pine door with my right leg, staying in the doorway I sniffed the air and smiled, the room instantly fell dead silent.

I held a bucket in one hand which had the words top secret printed on it, in my other hand was a sheet of green Bristol board that was rolled up and kept in place by a thin rubber band. My chin was held up high, my thick curly brunette hair was scraped together in a pony tail which slipped through my black no.51 unit cap, I wore black leather boots which ended about an inch or so below my knee, mid-thigh khaki pants  and a navy green v-neck shirt with the words now or never marked in capitals. Below my small slightly slanted light blue eyes were two black short parallel lines on each side of my face which contrasted against my pale skin. Since my hands were already full, a mud brown sling was kept on my back holding more top secret data.

I quickly scan over the room there were various portraits of ancient Chinese arts, abstract paintings of nature and a six foot picture frame of Tom and Jerry (where did that come in, humph who knows I thought) pinned to the walls against the mocha painted walls and laminate woods spread along the ground, my eyes move to the centre of the room there was a dated red chair suite with peach horizontal lines running from one side to the other, in the centre of the suite was a bright ,almost blinding orange coffee table. Mrs. Davis (Edwin’s mom) always had a very odd way of decorating.

Before I could take in anything else my eyes quickly flickered to where my friends/conspirators were sitting (yup, conspirators, we all had agreed to meet at Edwin's house before we go forward with our plot because his parents are hardly ever home and with him being the only child he gets the house all to himself so it's a perfect place to meet) with their legs cross on a fluffy grey mat. I couldn't help but notice that every last single one of their mouths were dropped and a shocked expression was plastered across all their faces, if their mouths were opened any wider I'm sure they could have swallowed the coffee table whole. I looked around still unsure why, I looked behind me to see if anything was there nope, and nothing there and then I quickly asked

'' What?'' to no one in particular, but to anyone that can compose themselves enough to say something; but no one responded. So I asked again

'' What are you guys staring at?'' I asked slowly walking towards them snapping my fingers in front of their faces to get them out of the trance that they were in. The snapping worked because they started blinking and shut their mouths, and then Macie my long time best friend said

''Wow Valerie, you really go all out.'' Then it hit me I was dressed like someone ready to go to war, like there was no choice, a fearless warrior entering the battlefield to fight for their life who reached the point of no return.

''Oh" is all i could conjure up, how could I have not guess they were looking at me

''Yea sis, you surpassed the limits'' Nathalie said still in shock. The two others, Edwin and Gale could only say

''Totally! '' Also still in shock,'' What can I say, I try my best ‘‘ was my brilliant response  but truly I had no idea what to say I didn't expect this to happen; for them to react this way. Now that they were fading back into the trance I snapped my fingers to shake them out of it and surprisingly it worked again.

''Guys'' I said then paused '' We got to get down to business, remember we got a plan'' I said hoping that they were over the way I was dressed and get back to why we're here in the first place.

''Oh yea, right,(she rubbed her eyes)so you brought the list?'' Macie spoke out first again.''

''Yup, you know I did, I never forget when it comes to things like this'' I responded quickly, we were already behind time since they wasted a whole ten minutes in shock

''Yea, I guess I should know that by now, anyways done with the small talk get out the list " Macie said with her normal tone meaning she was fully out of shock and ready to get things done. I smiled Macie one of those people who once they put their on something it will be done one of the many reasons she is my bf. By then everyone were back to normal and unloaded what they were supposed to bring.

''Macie- ammo for Gale's guns'' I quickly called out

''Check'' Macie shouted ''Edwin-black, white, green and brown sprays, Nathalie-balloons, Gale-5 guns'' I blurted out even quicker

''Check, yup, all here'' Edwin, Gale and Nathalie said respectively and saluted me. I smiled at that then put back on a straight face and stood upright

''Now comrades, let’s get started'' I spoke the best I could trying to imitate that elephant from Jungle Book. They all smiled and played along, all at once they shouted

''Mam, yes mam'' they all stood up straight, right next to one another and smiled probably because of what we're all going to do in I don't know say 10-15 minutes. I smiled evilly to myself oh yea payback baby, being grounded will so be worth it.
