It All Has To End

Valerie's POV

5  minutes later

By now we had already left Edwin's house, making our way to Ms.Goddings' place, we’re soon going to be there I can't wait till I get there, I’m so excited. The streets were scanty; it was not a surprise being that today is the first Saturday of summer. Okay for those who don't know every summer in Haynesville, citizens get together to have a mega, super, rocking, awesome party to declare the official opening of summer vacation .Every year the theme changes and something new is added which at times seems impossible; they’re so many things there already but they never cease to amaze me, so I'm looking forward to going after we're finished what we're doing here.

This year we have three different competitions I don't know what sort yet because only those who enter the competition are allowed to know, that way they keep the audience in suspense and continues to surprise them when the party comes around each year. I haven't checked up on the theme either the last few days of school were really hectic, I hardly had any spare time. Anyways that just makes me more excited about it.

"Can't wait, can't wait, can’t wait!” I shouted out and squealed. I’m not usually this joyful but I just love vacation I mean who doesn't.

"What's up with you" Macie said in an amused tone while she smiled and turned her head in my direction.

'Oh... umm... nothing" I said and put on a fake smile. Macie looked at me with a 'I know you're lying face' but then she said nothing more. One of the thousands of reasons we're bfs is that she knows when to stop, they’re some people who would ask you a question, carry  you all around the moon   and humbug you ,every living minute of the day just to try to get that answer out of you, she’s not like that, she knows when to drop it, it’s only in case where she thinks it is absolutely important and something that's disturbing or hurting me that she would do that which is very rare because we talk about everything together.

Two minutes later

I was at the front of the group with Macie right next to me in her own little world, following behind were Gale and Edwin shoving and pushing each other like five year olds while Nathalie-my sister was acting all grumpy earlier and yelling at them so they told her to take her mood swings and stick them up her crack or tell it to someone who cares, she didn't even bother to reply she knew they would just make fun of her moodiness the whole journey there. She decided to take out her hot pink iPod that she jus got about a month ago to listen to music. She was singing and dancing a little to Dynamite by Taio Cruz-at the moment she was singing the chorus.

I joyfully jumped up and down like a kid who was high off of candy with one of those smiles that stretched from my right ear all the way back to my left one, my eyes were wide opened, I was clapping my hands while my pony tail was being flipped up and down. I’m sure anyone would look at us with a rather amused wtf face or look at those weirdo teens across there, not that we cared anyway.

"Umm Val" Macie finally came out of her own little world, she was quiet the whole trip and spoke up or was it me lost in my own little world I was too excited to notice, what if she was speaking to me early and i wasn't answering ....oops.

"We're here" she finally finished off, so then my next response was to stop jumping. I then turned around and I cleared my throat.

"You two stop" I shouted at Gale and Edwin while I illustrated the action by holding up my hand, then I fling both my hands out telling them to move out the way they did so quickly.... so I could see Nathalie. She’s so crazy she was down on one knee, pretending to play the guitar while shaking her hair like a rock star. She probably got down on the ground when she saw that Gale and Edwin stopped walking. She was too lost in her music to even recognize I was looking at her so I went back to the other two.
