Positive.. But how? I went to get Jenna. I took her back to my room. She took the test and looked at it. "Mom and Dad are gonna kill you!" She said. "Yeah, I know Jenna. Just don't tell anyone. Let me tell Mom and Dad. Plus don't tell anyone in school either. Please, Jenna, don't." I told her. "I won't. I promise." She said. My mom, Sarah, walked into my room. I quickly put the test in my pocket. "What's that Leslie?" She asked me. "Ummm.. Nothing." I answered. "Give it!!" She said sternly. I gave it to her. "OhMyGod! Who's pregnant?!? I want to know NOW!!" She screamed. "Mom, I am! Okay? I'm pregnant! I'm sorry!" I told her crying. "Sweetie, it's fine. Your dad and I will help you throughout it." She said sweetly. I smiled. As my mom walked out of the room I said "Phew!!"
The next day at school was hard. I couldn't stop thinking of the living human being that's in me right now. In 1st hour, Health, it just so happens that we're learning about Sex and Babies and Puberty. Maybe I'll learn some stuff I need to know about babies. That would be nice, because I don't know anything about them. All I know is how their made! Something I wish I never did. It was just so.. So, I don't know how to put it..
At lunch, I was looking for Josh. I walked up to him and said, "I'm pregnant." He looked at me weird. "Oh. Well, if youre pregnant, then we cant date." I stared at him. I got so mad. I stomped away. When I get home, my mom and dad will hear about this.
When I got home, I told my family. They were furious. I decided to call a doctor before the day was over.
"Hello. I just got pregnant and need a doctor and a checkup." I said. "Okay. I will get you a fabulous doctor, may I take your name, and age please?" She said. "Umm. Yeeah. Leslie Knight and 16." Isaid her shyly. "Thanks." She said. "Your welcome." I told her. "Hello. This is Dr. Jay, how can I help you?" He said. "I just got pregnant and need a doctor and checkup." I told Dr. Jay. "Okay. Well I'm open at 10:30 tomorrow morning. You could come fill out paper work then we'll give you a check up." He said. "Okay. That's good. Thank you. Bye. See you tomorrow."I said "Goodbye." Dr. Jay said. I told my parents what time, then went to bed.
I set my alarm for 7:30 in the morning. So I woke up and got ready. When I was ready, I told my mom that we had to go. We were almost there and I was getting nervous. I've never been pregnant before so I didn't know what they are going to do. It seems scary. We pulled into the the parking lot and I was getting really nervous.
"Where's Dr. Jays office?" my mom asked the lady at the front desk. "Room 103, down this hall." she said. We went to his office. "Hey. Time for your checkup." He said.
