Its 8:30 am I'm woken by the chirping of my alarm. It's just another boring in the life of a care kid. I go to get breakfast. As I leave the table and walk to my room I'm stopped by Ruby (one of the staff here) "Are you ready to go" Ruby asked. I thought for a minute about what she said, what did she mean  was I ready to go. I then remembered what she meant today was the day of Colleen's meetup. I instantly got excited. I don't know how I forgot. I told her I'd be five minutes. I rushed to my room and but on my frozen top and my pink jumper and some black leggings. I then put some stuff in my backpack like my broken iPhone 3G, a raincoat and a hat. I rushed downstairs and got into the car. It only took ten minutes to get there. I got there I was early so I was the first in the line. She was very sweet. She asked me where I lived and I told I lived in a care home. I saw a tear run down her cheek. She asked me for all the information and I told her.

I got home after the meet up. I felt so sorry for the little girl Rachel. I really want to adopt her but I know Josh wouldn't let me. I told him all about her and how sweet she was I them asked him about adopting her of course he said no. I went to our room and got into bed. I couldn't keep it in. I started balling then Josh came in and said that he had booked a meeting for tomorrow about adopting Rachel. I threw myself at him and hugged him I can't believe she might be my daughter. I was so excited for the next day to come.

I couldn't do nothing I called the adoption centre and booked a meeting. I mean one simple phone call could change her life. I was so excited to tell Colleen. When In told her she came straight at me and gave me a big bear hug. I was so excited tomorrow might be the day we adopt a child. I can't wait to meet Rachel. the way Colleen talks about her makes her sound so wonderful.

I was called down to Ruby's office. I was told that someone called Colleen and Josh would like to adopt me. Wait a second what were their names? Colleen and Josh said Ruby. Colleen and Josh Evans? Yes their coming tomorrow to meet you. I can't believe it, my idol wants to adopt me. Could this day get any better. When they come tomorrow, if your right for them you will be going home with them explained Ruby. OMG I might be living with Colleen and Josh Evans.
