I turned another corner. So fast that I almost tripped and fell, but I managed not to. How big is this place! I couldn't find Isabelle. I couldn't scream out loud either. I couldn't risk the chance of them hearing me. Or worse, her shouting back and them hearing her. So I kept going. Blindly searching for her. Then right when I thought that maybe all hope was lost. I heard a voice that sounded like Isabelle's. It screamed "No!" I wasn't so scared of what caused the scream. I was scared that something might've happened to Isabelle. What happened? Is she all right? I sprinted towards the noise, and turned the corner into this long corridor. Far down the corridor, I saw my sister backed into a wall, and a man with a sword looming over her. There was a body laying on the floor next to them. It was the tall, suited man! He was dead, but still bleeding. That told me that he was freshly killed. Which was probably what caused her to scream. The man holding a bloody sword came even closer to Isabelle. No! I sprinted as fast as I could. This time, I was running the way I was trained too. I was silent. Moving in for the kill. But would I be quick enough? I kept running down the pitch black corridor. Red lights kept spinning around, flashing across the scene playing in front of my eyes. The man heaved the sword upward. I will not let my sister become a casualty. I'm almost there. Then he swung down, and I arrived just in time. I reached out and caught his hand. I squeezed with all my strength, and he cringed in pain, and dropped the sword. Then he opened his mouth. Probably about to call out for someone, but I wasn't gonna let that happen. I delivered a quick, precise jab to the throat. I crushed his windpipe so he couldn't talk. Then I grabbed his head, and broke his neck. His limp body dropped to the floor. I rushed over to Isabelle. Pulling her in for a hug. "That's it Bell. We're going home." She tensed up and was quiet when I said that. I released our embrace, and looked at her. "What's wrong? Don't tell me you actually want to stay?! "Yeah, about that," she started "I think we should stay." "Bell, are you crazy!" "Maybe, but only if you count wanting to save thousands of lives as crazy." "Bell, I-" "Please! Please help them." Her eyes were watering and she looked like she was about to cry. I still wasn't sure that I wanted to do this, but at this point I wasn't sure of anything anymore. "Ok." Then I turned around and ran saying "But first you have to follow me!" Then I ran towards what I thought was the exit. All the important people have more than likely already evacuated, so our best hope is to ask the woman named Agnes where they might've evacuated to. That's only if she wasn't dead already. At the end of the corridor I was about to turn another corner, but I felt something that made me stop in my tracks. Every fiber of my body was screaming. Telling me to run as far away from here as possible. I'm trying to! I put my hand out, signaling Isabelle to stop. Then I felt this...feeling getting closer. It was the same feeling I got in the room with the man on the throne. I looked at her in the eyes and whispered "We need to hide." We turned a ran down the corridor, but I felt it getting closer behind us. I lead us into a dark room. It seemed like someone's room. I lead us underneath the bed. I already knew that it wasnt the best option, but there weren't many options. And I definitely wasn't going to hide us in the closet. I knew that that would be one of the first places they'd check. The bed might've been the worst hiding spot I've ever picked. But beggars can't be choosers. I heard a voice that sounded like it belonged to a man that was absolutely psychotic. It frightened me even more. "O-ok the boss says to check to see if there is any one left. I'll c-check this corridor." Then I heard a deep, angry voice. "I don't know who made you the decider. I could destroy an in instant you pantophobic freak!" "Y-yes. I'm s-sorry." "Good. And I'll be taking this corridor. "S-sure go ahead." Then I heard a mad scramble of footsteps go down a different corridor. I heard steps come down this corridor. I heard each door open, getting closer to our door. When the door next to us opened I started breathing hard. Then the door to our room opened. It creaked as it was slowly turned on its hinges. He took a step inside and my heart stopped beating. He walked closer, and I stopped breathing. Scared that he would hear me. He went to the closet and opened it, and I felt relief on the fact that I didn't hide us in there. Then he walked in front of the bed. I felt numb. Feeling regret that I hid us here. My skin was prickling, and I felt cold. I was thinking about everything I've done, and all the things I wanted to do. Please, it can't end now. He knelt down, and just before his head tilted down to look under the bed. A voice came from down the corridor. "Umm, N-noise? The b-boss says that he wants us back ASAP." Then the man got up and walked away. I heard him say "Let's go." Down the hall "Y-yes boss." Noise. That was his name. I took a breathe of relief that he didn't see us. We go out from underneath the bed slowly. As if we were scared he may come back. I stood up, and looked down at my hands. They were shaking really bad. We walked out of the room, and ran towards the exit. We walked over to a wall that had a door knob randomly sticking out of it. I reached for it, but my hands were too shaky to turn it. Isabelle put her hand on top of mine, and I calmed down. My shaking stopped. She said "It's ok now." And I actually believed her. I turned the knob, and climbed into it. Walking through the wardrobe once more. I made it through and ran over to the clerk desk. Agnes was still standing there like she knew nothing of what happened. She had a kind smile across her face, and there looked like there was blood on her hands. She smiled at me and said. "Monarch said that you might be coming. It just so happens that we have one more escape pod that sits two.

"This thing moves fast doesn't it?!" I shouted over the sound of wind blowing in my face. "Yeah it does!" said Isabelle next to me. We were gliding on electromagnetic rails underground inside a high-tech escape pod. We were in there for so long that I had difficulties hearing after getting out. We got out on what seemed like a landing zone for escape pods. There were pods lined up in rows. We got out and followed the directions that people have us to get to this man named Monarch. I was hoping that that was the name of the man on the throne. We walked through what seemed like an even bigger version of the other HQ. This one had so much more stuff, equipment, and people than the other one. We found our way to another set of grand doors. I bursted through the doors, and spoke to the man on the throne with serious eyes. "I'll help you."
