Another Chance

'People are so noisy. How annoying.'

While students were getting ready for the school festival, a certain blonde haired girl was just sitting and observing the view from the rooftop.

'Hey!' A girl with a chipmunky voice called out.

'Speaking of annoying, look whose here.' The blonde said to herself while rolling her eyes.

'I heard that.' The chipmunk said with a pout as she made her way to the blonde and sat next to her.

'What do you want Tomo?' The blonde then ask without even looking at her.

A sigh escape from Tomo's lips. 'You dont need to act so badass infront of me you know. I'm your best friend, Mami.' She said.

'I'm not acting.' The blonde said in an annoyed tone.

'Ohh so now your annoyed?' She said while crossing her arms.

'Why are you even here Tomo? What do you want?' The blonde finally looked at the brunette and asked.

'I just wanted to hang out with my best friend.' She replied in a playful tone, trying not to get affected by her best friends words.

'Oh really? Or did Haru got annoyed again and told you to leave?' The blonde said harshly.

The brunettes' smile disappeared. She was deeply offended by the blondes words. 'Why are you like that Mami? Why are you mad at me like that? What did I do?' She ask in a high pitch voice.

Mami lowered her head. 'You left....' She replied in a really low voice or more of like a mumble.

The brunette didn't understand what her best friend was saying making her more upset. 'Come on Mami! What! What did I do to deserve this?!'

'You left!' The blonde shouted in response.

'Wha-' the brunette was taken aback by the blondes sudden actions. She never expected the blonde to explode like that.

'You heard me! You left me when you and that Hobbit started dating! You know how fucked up that is, Tomo?! And now you're coming to me whenever Haru's busy or if you're bored?! What the hell!' The blonde said, her voice filled with anger as she looked at the brunette whose face is now full of suprise.

'Mami.....' She said softly.

'I just can't accept that Tomo. I needed you but you left.' Mami said, her voice cracking and her eyes are starting to water.

'Mami......I'm sorry. I didn't know.' Guilt can be heard all over as she said those words.

'Of courses you didn't. You were blinded by love.' Mami broke her gaze from the brunette while wiping the tears from her eyes.

'I....I just-'

'Whatever. No need to explain yourself. I'll get over it.' Mami responded quickly, cutting the brunettes words.

Tomo gave Mami a tight hug. 'Mami...'

The blonde quickly broke the hug then looked at her with a sad expression and said, 'Hey Tomo. I'm going to transfer...'

'Huh... What are you talking about?' Tomo asked in confusion.

Mami took a deep breath before responding. 'I just think you'd want to know.' She said as she look down at the ground.

'But Mami you can't leave!' The brunette demanded then started to cry infront of the blonde.

'Why not?' The blonde replied with a hint of guilt in her voice.
