Chapter 2..

CHAPTER 2..

I work at Z110 Radio, sometimes I host too, if anyone isn’t well or anything. But mostly I do the paper work and stuff. There isn’t much work, but they pay good. So eh.

We were on our way, the Radio Station isn’t far away. Only about 30-35 minutes away. Emma suddenly played the radio, and ‘Rock Me’ by ‘One-Oh-So-Amazing-Direction’  I liked the song. Emma like some songs of ‘One Direction’ but she’s too small to remember the bands name or the songs. What if Harry knew about her? And what if he gets to know now.. when he’s already missed 3 years of our child. I let out a huge sigh. I think a lot. I pulled up at the parking lot of the Radio Station and quickly got out and went towards the other side so that Emma can come out of the car. She can’t the door handle she struggles a lot. I quickly open her door and picked her, and locked the car and started walking towards the entrance  but I was soon interrupted when I heard Danny’s voice,” Hello love! How are you today ?” I slowly turned back, and Danny was there standing, H’s my best friend, he’s helped me through thick and thin. Even when I was pregnant, he was the one who helped me. If he would have been straight, he would be my boyfriend right now. But he’s gay. But Oh, whatever I love him! “And look, we have Emma here too! What a wonderful day! Hi Em.”, he said while looking at Emma.

Emma quickly replied, or rather screamed,” Uncle Danny!”, He just laughed and looked at me for an answer, And I quickly gave it,“Danny!! I’m good. You? Where  were you yesterday? I was soo damn bored!”, I said smilingly. He was now by my side, he motioned me to continue walking, so now we were walking together

“I’m good. Just woke a little late so a bit tired I guess. And oh! I was with Joe last night, I forgot to tell you hun. Sorry!”, he said and then smiled a bit. Joe is Danny’s boyfriend. They both are like perfect. MADE  FOR EACH OTHER. When will I meet my soul mate? I pushed away the thoughts and answered him, “ Oh its fine! Emma here entertained me well” I said and smiled while looking at Emma.And then I realized we were now in front of the main door of the Radio Station. Danny worked there too. I gave a him a quick smile as he opened the door for him. I quickly thanked him and told him I’d talk to him later and then rushed to my cabin. My cabin was quite big there were 2 sofas and the usual 3 chairs and a desk. There was one whole cupboard here, for  Emma. Her toys,  clothes and other stuff. And 2 cupboards for me, well it only contained things related to work. It was small. I placed Em on the sofa and opened the cupboard marked as “EMMA’S CUPBOARD, DON’T OPEN”, she made me write it. I quickly got out few of her favorite toys and placed near here. I know, now she won’t disturb me until she’s hungry, well it will happen soon.

I quickly started my work and really got engrossed in it.

I was so lost in my work that I almost forgot that my baby girl was in the same room.Emma brought me back to reality when she said she was hungry, I looked at the clock besides me and saw it was 2 o’ clock already. I arranged my work and kept it back in its place and then went to sit besides Em.

“Mummy can we pwease go to McDonald’s for lunch? Pwease” she request.

I let out a sigh and nodded my head “Okay baby, lets go and eat Mcdonald’s today!” I said and smiled

“Yayy Mummy! Ywou’re the best! Wove you”

“Yeah, yeah. I love you too. Now  c’mmon!”

She quickly got off the sofa and ran toward the entrance. I just laughed at her reaction. I picked up my bag and followed her. She was no where in sight so I think she’s already near the car. I went to inform Danny that I was going for lunch. But he was busying hosting a show., so I just wrote a note

“Dear Danny,

Me and Emma are going out for lunch. If there is something important just call me.

Love you,

Amanda Xxx “

After writing it and placing it on his door I went towards the parking lot. There I saw Em jumping up and down, near the car. The minute she saw me she started jumping more. I just laughed at her excitement. When I came near the car Em asked me, “Mummy! What were you doing? We’ll get late. C’mmon mum.”

“Yeah, yeah. Sorry! Get in the car now.”

I unlocked the car, made sure Em’s seat belt was buckled and then ran towards the other side. I quickly got in, buckled my seat belt, and started the engine.

Off we were to McDonald’s…
