"Amanda Thomson! Get down here now!" I laid on my bed as my father called for me while tears were soaking my pillow.
Hearing a glass shatter on the floor downstairs and stomping up the stairs, I quickly got off my bed and ran out my door.
Bumping into my father I quickly stepped back with wide eyes."D-Daddy I.."
"Save it. Get downstairs now," he warned. Quickly nodding I started heading down the stairs.
As I reached the last few steps I felt a rough force on my back. My dad pushed me and I missed the last three steps landing practically on my face at the bottom.
Slowly looking up I could see my parents standing over me.My mother leaned over grabbing a fist full of my hair, "Get up!" She demanded, yanking on my hair.
As I was forced up by my hair to my feet, she instantly hit me then threw me into a wall making me fall back to the floor.
"Clean up this glass. And next time learn to do your chores right or we wont be so easy," My dad snarled before kicking me and walking out of the room.
I started to quickly pick up all the big and small shards of glass. Several of the shards ended up in my fingers and palms but if I complained about it I'd be in more trouble.
After picking up the glass, I had to pull all the small shards out of my fingers before rushing to leave for school.Walking to school was like every other day. Quiet and lonely. As I was walking my mind started to wander; like always it was about my sister. Suddenly a car pulled up at a red light. I'm sure it was the jeep. The very black jeep that killed my sister. I could never forget this jeep. My heart dropped as it all flooded back to me.
"Finally we're here," my sister Maggie sighed, and just by the look on her face, I knew she was annoyed.
"It's not my fault. I didn't even wanna come to the stupid party."
"Come on," she sighed again, grabbing ahold of her hand we began walking inside as the music got louder, and the smell of alcohol and marijuana got stronger.
Getting inside I started taking shot after shot of god knows what while Maggie talked to some guy.
Staying there about two hours, I think. Maggie decided she wanted to go home which meant we both had to leave.
I was still trying to have fun dancing around on the sidewalk as we walked home. I tried making Maggie but she didn't want to. Clumsy me, tripping over my own two feet I fell towards the road. Suddenly I felt a grasp on my arm pulling me to the sidewalk. I landed hard on the ground and a gasp escaped my sisters mouth. The sound of bones crushing shattered in my ears. As I turned to see what was happening it was too late to help her.
My sister had pulled me back to the sidewalk causing herself to fall into the road. A black jeep came flying by and hit her as she landed.
Driving away, I saw a JETS sticker, a skull sticker and a few monster stickers on the back window. The jeep just drove off, not even stopping to see if Maggie was okay.
Quickly sobering up I ran to my sister as I pulled my phone out calling 911. I couldn't get a pulse from her.
Lifting her head to my lap, I felt tears falling from my eyes as I realized she was gone."Maggie, please," I whined in pain, holding her cold body.
"Maggie, you need to wake up," I sobbed, my heart pounding, chest closing, tears bluring my vision.
Soon sirens were growing closer. The closer they got the more real it was becoming. The more I realized. The more it scared me. I'm not going to have my best friend anymore. I wont have a little sister to guide, to protect, to fight with, to love.Taking a deep breath I shook myself from my thoughts and let the jeep go. It was just a coincidence, I thought.
I made my way through the parking lot of the school thinking to myself, 'Here goes another day of hell.' Once I reached the end of the parking lot I noticed that jeep again. My heart sank to my toes at the sight of it.
A guy got out that I've never seen before. He kind of glanced over at me before being surrounded by a group of people. My group of bullies to be exact.
Trying to avoid them all I started walking a little faster, though it didn't work.
