I was in my room doing homework when my dad had called me down for dinner. I loved my dad, hands down I was a daddy's girl, and I knew he loved me. Dad always told me how proud he was of all my accomplishment. Though, I haven't really done much.
My family is small just my mother father brother and I. We aren't filthy rich nor dirt poor...you could say we live comfortably. My mom has always explained it to me that she never once wanted us to want for anything.
Not that we are spoiled or anything...I have core values and all that good stuff. Gosh I suck at explaining this! New subject I call!
Anyways, back to dinner.
Sliding on my slippers I found myself following the path that I know so well towards the dining room. Mom and dad were waiting food hot and steaming off of our plates.
My brother Nick is in the army and only comes home a few times out of the year. He's like my best friend, on of the only people I know that I can depend on.
"Hey mom, Hey dad. This is sooo good!" Stuffing my face with food the words just tumbled out. They laughed at me as they too ate, for a while it was just silence. Just the soft sound of silverware hitting plates and gulps of water being swallowed.
"Sooo how was everyone's day?" Of course I was always the one to start conversations I mean as the youngest it was kind of my job.
"Eh, usual. I have a new client and his case seems simple enough." Did I mention my moms a lawyer?
If not I should probably also inform you that dads a cop. Yup. Beautiful.
Dinner went as usual, my parents talking about their day and me trying to avoid school talk.
After, I washed the dishes it was my night to do so after all. Though tonight dad came to help...

I am currently in the very early stages of editing. This story was written sometime ago. And believe it or not I get a lot I've requests to keep it going. I cannot continue writing this story as it was before so I need to recreate this thing. As I go along it will go from part... To just the number ex: From part one to 1. Though even after the tittle has been changed I will still be editing that's just a kind of warning that it's under construction. As I am fixing it I completely understand if it's not the story you wanted me to complete I just have to do it my way.
