Glitch stepped up to the mic. She grinned and her hair floated around her. Static. "This is just a little song that somebody reminded me of. She's got me dancing."
Thunder picked up her bass and pulled down her yellow cap. Maggot, the drummer, began doing a soft beat. Their lead guitarist, a 11-year old named Niko, ran his hands over the keyboard. N.C. smiles and stands beside him. She softly whispers in his ear. "Hey what do you know? My little Niko's running the show."
Niko smiled widely and his many lip piercing shined in the dim lighting.
Barb, the light person, instantly worked on that. She jogged over to the sensor's and raised the lighting above the stage. Blue, green and red light's focused on the band. The Reapers.
She whistled to her twin, Twitch, who was flirting (as usual) with a girl. He lifted up his masked face and spotted his younger sister. He nodded and flashed a camera a thumbs up.
"Hey Zoey! Hey Zoey! Hey Zo-ey!" A over excited female, held a lighted firework in a red-heads face. "Mary, do that one more tim-"
She noticed the signal. "Hello late night partiers! Welcome to the Midnight Maze, tonight we have a very special guest, THE REAPERS!"
Below, the crowd cheers loudly. Mary giggles and pushes a button on the dashboard. The sounds of firecrackers going off freaks out the pink haired singer on stage. A winged creature laughs in the crowd. "Good old Mary."
A Zelda, look-alike laughs. 'Yup, always knows how to freak out everyone."
Her comrade sighed. "Unfortunately."
Glitch tapped the mic and lights flickered. Barb cursed. A mysterious figure laughed and ran away from the angry female. "MAGE!"
Two males were huddled at a table. "So got and sevens?"
"Go Fish."
"Wait. We're playing Go Fish?" A confused blonde puts down her cards. Snake-Eyes, the older one wearing a top hat and a painted smile, sighs. "We told you that five minutes ago, Stray."
His quiet friend, Jinx, took a quick a peek at the women's cards. "Well, I didn't know!"
Stray's hands morph into a pair of human hands with long claws.
"Hey, what'd you know about the song and the dance and the wine?
That boy is looking at you and he says that he knows your kind." Niko begins to sing loud and clear. The older ones around him smile. Glitch sings with him on the next line."I see you dancin' but you never ever mark your words, Hey, what do you know, I think you've gotta do this up again."
