Chapter 4- Good News or Bad News

Hey guys so, not getting as many reads as I expected but that's okay cause this whole story is just moving along. So this chapter will come with a little surprise but finally Liam will come into play. Oh yeah and is Payzer no longer?Comment/Vote.

I closed the door to my car and walked up to the front door. I had texted Harry earlier to see if he was home and he had said he was. I took a deep breath and rung the buzzer to connect the com. I heard the voice that I had dreaded to hear.

"Hello?" Leila asked through the com.

I struggled to find words. I'd have to somehow tell Harry the news in private, but Leila would give us zero space. This isn't how I was expecting this to go. I really just wanted to see his reaction and I wanted things to really work out.

"Erm hey Leila. It's Rose. Is Haz home?" I asked quickly

"Rose! I was just about to call you! You would never believe what just happened. Actually Haz is asleep he asked me to come over -you would never believe-I'm coming down just wait." She disconnected and I waited.

The door burst open and she ran onto the sidewalk and embraced me in a bone-crushing hug . She crushed my stomach and I had a sheer moment of panic. I thought she was crushing the baby. In instinct I pushed her off harshly. She looked at me confused but I just smiled.

"Period. You know how I like my distance," She nodded and then I asked, "What are you all excited about?"

She held up her right hand and on her ring finger was a large diamond ring. I gasped and fell to the stairs. I clutched my stomach and felt tears threatening to fall.

He asked her to marry him? What? Now there was no way that he would move in with me. He really didn't love me or even like me like I thought he did. Our baby would have to be raised by Leila. How could I be so stupid to have any hope that he would choose me over her? This baby was going to have two mothers, one that wasn't even really his and not give a care in the world.

That's when I looked at Leila and tried to cover my emotions, "Wow love, that's absolutely fantastic," I said happily, "When did this all happen?"

"Oh about 3 hours ago. I came over and he was acting really strange. I pretty much had to wrench it out of him but he got down on one knee and well opened the little black box. Inside was this ring. I thought maybe it was just earrings but no. Then he asked me simply, 'Will you marry me'. Of course I said yes and the we had a little fun." She wiggled her eyebrows

I laughed but inside I was dying. He loved her, and they had had, I had to cringe, sex. There was no way that they were splitting now. This news wasn't going to be good but I don think it was going to change anything. I was really tempted though to tell Leila exactly what had happened. Maybe then she would break up with him and I'd have him all to myself just me, him and the child that grew inside of me.

The thought was pleasant at first but I quickly regretted even thinking of it. Leila was my best friend how could I even think that. She would never do that to me. It would kill her to find out. She loved Harry they had been together almost 4 years now.

It was my fault I even got pregnant in the first place. I was drunk and I completely forgot that I wasn't on the pill anymore. I was stupid to sleep with my best friends boyfriend, now fiancé and not regret it.

Leila interrupted my thoughts, "Rose? Rose? Are you alright?" She waved her hand in front of my eyes. I put a smile on my face and hopped up I embraced her lightly and kissed her on the cheek.

"Im fabulous actually. Just popped over for a visit, and turns out we needed some major catching up time."

"That would be perfect actually. I want to talk more about the whole proposal." Leila responded turning the conversation to her
