I remember when I first found Stentorian. It was a day just like any other. Full of boredom and hatred. My parents, Ronald Archer and Lilliana Archer had just gotten home from a long day at work. They both owned large companies that practically owned our entire city. Now--before we go on--you should know, I come from one of those families that wear suits and dresses wherever they go. We are very rich and have a very large home. My mom and dad are snooty adults that think they can do whatever they want, and they never get off the phone. I'm not like that. I really hate how all of that has turned out. Now, I'm not ungrateful, but I wish... I wish I had less. Everyone just instantly calls me a spoiled rich kid when they find out about my family. That's not me.

Anyway, after my parents got home from work, it all started. My mom and dad walked through the door, both of them on the phone. My mom, Lilliana was wearing a long black dress that had a white tie around her waist that ended in a large, beautiful bow on her hip. Her long red hair was in perfect curls that reached her elbows, and her bangs were pinned back with a white pin. She had blue eyes shadow above her beautiful ice blue eyes, and lip red lipstick on. My father, Ronald, was wearing his normal black suit with a dark red tie, and his black hair was in a perfect slick back style. His dark brown eyes had a serious look to it. They looked like a couple of serious business people, which is what they were.

"Allaryce! You haven't gotten dressed yet?! It's nine o'clock pm!" My mother cried as she stepped in, seeing me on the couch in my over sized sweatshirt that had a pair of headphones as it's design and my black and blue pajama pants. My long black hair reached the center of my back and was sticking up all over the place and in knots. I had only woken up a few hours ago, so there were dark circles under my silver blue eyes. My mother quickly hung up the phone and grabbed my arm with her delicate hand.

"Mom, I told you. Call me Alla. It's better then my normal name. And, I'm not dressed because I just woke up." I rolled my eyes as I stood up from my position on the couch. Our living room was the definition of fancy. It had night statues on both sides of a red stone fireplace. Then, right across from the fireplace was the couches. We had two bright, pure white ones and a soft blue one. They all had fluffy, designed pillows sitting on them in a perfect position. Then, across from the couches was a beautiful coffee table with the top part made of glass and the rest made of a polished wood. There was also a giant TV in front of that, and a big, red, orange and brown rug underneath the couches on the brown wood floors.

"Allaryce. You must get dressed this instant! My mother is coming over." My father said to me, and I groaned. Grandma Talia--or Madam Talia as she prefers to be called--is the founder of my dad's company. She's even more perfect then my parents. Talia would always glare at me and say things like "Ladies should be seen, not heard." whenever I try to say something. I was so sick of it! Ronald pushed my back gently, pushing me towards my room. I roll my eyes, but let him and start up the tall polished stone stairs to my room in the top floor.

Finally, I made it up the tall stairs into my room. My house was a tall mansion that had gold lining and the rest was white. But, at the top was an observatory shaped room, and it was my room. The top could open so I could see the sky easily. In my room, there was a small bed with black blankets and yellow pillows. It was pushed up against the far wall and it had posters above it. Most of the posters were musicians and bands. The walls were a soft shade of grey, and the floor was a brown carpet. That's all that was in my room. It was really plain. But, I like it that way. I walked in and sat down on my bed, looking at my ceiling. It was rounded, with a line down the middle where it opened. After staring at it for a minute, I went and got dressed. I changed out of my normal clothing, and into the clothes my mom and dad had laid out for the day.

I was wearing a short dress that was purple and blue at the bottom, then the part that covered my chest was white and soft. The dress reached to my waist in the front, then was longer in the back and it reached the center of my upper thighs. It was wavy all around the bottom, making it look like a fancy dress. Then, I was wearing black jeans that didn't have a single wrinkle in it. On my feet, I wore silver flats instead of the black high heels I was supposed to wear. I ran a brush through my hair, and put it into a long braid. Hopefully that will be good enough for Talia.
