Rosie's Pov

I woke up to my alarm going off in the lab. I went to turn it off but just hit the side of my capsule. Ugh. I hate mondays. I got up and had my capsule scan on my clothes. I had on a white shirt with the words"Secrets are all i have" in black, blue jeans with holes all over, black high tops, and to tie is all together a black beanie with the word "Stronger than i look" in white. Not to shabby Rosie if i do say so myself.

I went up the elevator to see a note on the kitchen table.

' Rosie i have to go to my lab upstate for a little while. While I am gone keep the house clean and what not. Love you sweetheart and don't skip school'

Ok then the whole house to my self. Cool!

I went to the cabinet and grabed an oreo poptart and ate it. I grabedy book bag and started walking to school. While I am walking I start to think of lyrics for a new song.

Yeah. I write songs. My mom was a famouse singer so i get it from her. I live to write my own songs. I don't have a song book because my bionics allow me to have a file in my brain that i can access whenever i want. Anyway I started but coldn't think of anyting so I just walked in silents

When i got to school I went straight to my lockers since i had 10 minutes to get ready. When i finished I had 6 mintes to spare.so when I saw my best friend Leo walk in I decided to talk to him

"Hey Leo." I said as i walked up to him

"Huh. Oh hey Rose. Whats up?" He asked using the nickname he gave me.

" the sky, clouds, me unfortunetlly" I joked.

"Hardy har har" He said with sarcasam dripping in his vioce causeing the 3 teens behind him ( which i JUST noticed ) snicker.

"Who's the fresh meat?" I asked.

"Rosie I would like you to meet my step-siblings." Leo said.

"Davenport. Adam Davenport. At your service" The tall one that is apparently Adam winked. I just shuddered. Ew

" HI!!!!I'm Bree. Let's be best friends!!" The girl who calls herself Bree smiled.

"HEY! I'm her best friend," Leo wined.

"Leo your my best guy friend. Bree can be my best female friend" I concluded. Bree squealed and gave me a bone crushing hug.

"Hello. I'm Chase and I have nothing Interesting to say" The small and may I say kind of cute boy supposedly named Chase said making me giggle.

"Well then just say something your proud of." I suggested.

"Ok. I am really smart?" Chase sais but it came out as more of a question.

"Smart is good. I should know that. I am probably the smartest person you'll ever meet" It's true. I have super smarts.

"No. Chase is smarter. Trust me." Bree said.

"No offence but I highly doubt that. I am smarter than I look." I countered.

"I thought you were stronger than you look?" Adam said referring to my beanie.

"That too. Looks can be deceiving." I smirked. If you looked at me you would never know I am bionic.

"Oh yeah well-" Leo started.

"It doesn't matter who is smarter!" Chase and I say at the same time cutting Leo off. We turn and look at each other in shock but I soon shrug it off.
