It started in Ireland when it's sister ship the Olympic had gone to New York on its maiden voyage, the titanic was sill being built. The titanic had three sister ships but the third was not built in till the titanic sank. In 3 years the titanic was finished and became the worlds largest thing made by man. The Titanic's sea trials had passed and it was good for a year. The titanic would be on its maiden voyage in 1911 but it's sister ship Olympic had crashed into a military cruiser and had a big hole in the front the captain of the ship is Edward John smith who will later be the captain of the titanic. The workers of Belfast would stop working on the Olympic instead the titanic.so it's maiden voyage would end up starting on April 10 1912.
