I stayed silent while I stared up at the towering figure.

He was tall, around 6'0, and he was very built. I only knew that cause he was shirtless, an damn am I enjoying the view. He was just wearing some dark washed jeans that hung low on his waist, showing his v-line. Damn.
His hair was dark brown, an stuck to his forehead. It was a little shaggy, but in a good way. His lips were full an looked chapped, probably from the cold. An his eyes, they were a light bright green, an looked almost transparent because they were such a light shade of green. Much like mine. He also had a strong jawline, an a, should I say cute, nose.

After what seemed like hours of me admiring his beauty, he cleared his throat.

"What are you doing out here all alone? A pretty girl like you could get hurt." He said mischievously.

I blushed at his statement as I struggled to find my words.

"I'm going to fetch the mail." I said, sounding a bit more confidently.

"I can understand that. Do you live here?" He asked curiously.

I nodded my head yes as I got up from the cold ground, dusting myself off in the process. I looked up to meet his gaze, even though I'm 5'7. I still managed to.

"What are you doing here?" I asked accusingly.

He snorted. "I live in these words babe. In fact, I can go where ever I please." He boasted cockily.

Ugh another airhead, hyped up on power an his ego.

"Well, if you don't mind, I must be going. I've already been gone long enough for my mother to be worried. An I most definitely do not need her yelling at me, again." I said as I pushed past him, but not before he grabbed my wrist.

"What's your name?" He asked curiously.

"Adeline, Adeline Ravensdale." I said, yeah the town was named after our family, which is stupid.

"What's yours?" I questioned as I turned around.

"Alex, Alex Blackwood." He said with a smirk.
