I fell myself being lifted into the air, was Cato mad that I stole his prey. When I saw his face I knew I was doomed. It was Thresh. "You kill her"?
"No"
"I heard you"
I see a rock in his hand the size of a loaf of bread. I know what's coming next. "Cato, Cato" And with that he smashes the rock down on my skull.
Cato never came to me when I needed him most, as I whisper this to myself I start to drift away and I know it's my time.
I wake up lying on the grass in the same spot where I died. "Am I in heaven"? I call out but then I realise if I was dead my head wouldn't be absolutely killing me. I stand up slowly and make my way to the forest
The day passes by really quick, thank god I think. But when I hear the mutts coming I wish it was day all over again. I can only think of one place to be safe from the mutts. The cornucopia. I sprint as fast as I can and just about manage to get up. When I do I see Cato standing there facing the other way. "Seems we both had the same idea then"
"Oh my god clove your alive"!
"no I'm still dead this my ghost"
"But really I'm just so glad to see you"
As we were talking loverboy and fire girl sneak up on to the cornucopia. Cato turns around to attempt to kill fire girl. My head hurts like crazy so while I'm distracted Peeta picks this moment to attack me. He dangling me over the side where all the mutts were and said "hand Katniss over and I won't drop clove" He basically threw Katniss at Peeta and reached out for me. Suddenly I fell myself falling off the side he hadn't kept his side of the bargain. I hear two cannons go off I suppose it's Katniss and Peeta. It's daylight now and all the mutts burned. When I find Cato I pounce on him " wait " he said
"What"
"We've won so what are you doing"?
"I won there's one pile of money, mine. One big house, mine. And one crown, mine."
"We could win together"
"No"
"why"
"There was one time when I needed you one time and you didn't come"
"But your okay now"
"I almost died"
"please don't do this"
And with that I slit his throat, stand up, walk away, and don't look back
