Recap:

Once I am finished with Liberty, it will be exactly like grade school. I remember when we used to be best friends. Until I started bullying her for popularity.  I don’t regret that decision one bit. I mean, I am in the worlds biggest boy band.  I wonder that if I keep doing that to her, if our fame will grow even more. I might as well continue. If it will somehow help our fame, the boys will thank me later. And with that, I drifted off into sleep.

Chapter 5~Crushing?

Liberty’s Point Of View

Yawn. I lazily open my eyes, and find myself in someone’s arms. My breath starts to quicken, until I realize that it’s Harry. Did we sleep together? I guess we did. I struggle to get out of his grip, and he just groans slightly, while he turns over. I step out of bed and grab decent clothes to wear. I grab high waisted blue faded shorts, with a red long sleeve shirt. I go inside of the bathroom and quickly change. When I come out, I see that Harry was out of my bed. Must have gone downstairs.  I go downstairs, and smell the most heavenly scent that I have ever smelled. Bacon! I run to the bacon and immediately start eating. When I finish my plate, I put it in the sink and wash it. I turn around to see all of One Direction, gaping at me, I must have not noticed them. Oops? “What? Have you ever not seen a girl eat before?” I snap. They all immediately break their gazes away from me and back to the T.V. Simon comes out from what I assume is either his room or his office. “Good morning Liberty.” He says with a half smile.  “Good morning. I was wondering if you could drop me off at the mall. I wanted to dye my hair.” I ask with hopeful eyes. Truth is, I have always wanted to dye my hair red. I would have wanted to keep it blonde, but now it looks so boring. Red is a cool color. For cool people. “Sorry Liberty, I have a lot of work today. In fact, I’m gonna be at the office the whole day. Don’t you have your own car?” Simon said, his tiredness still showing in his voice. “Yeah, I have a car, but it ran out of gas.” I mumbled, how could I be so stupid? Forgetting to put gas in my own car?  “Fine. I’ll tell one of the boys to give you a ride.” “Thanks Simon!” I said, while Simon texted someone, who I assume is one of the boys. No less than five minutes later, Zayn came walking down the stairs. I was a little disappointed at first, I was kind of hoping that I would get Harry, or at least someone that wasn’t rude to me the first time we met. “Alright, let’s go.” Zayn mumbled. Well, someone needs to be happier more often.

We stepped inside Zayn’s car and he started driving.  Usually, I would walk, but, the mall is pretty far from here. At least, the good mall is far from here. The car ride was pretty, what do you call it, awkward. After a good ten minutes into the drive, Zayn’s car started making some weird noises until it finally stopped altogether. Zayn tried turning on the car again, but it just kept turning off. He mumbled a few colorful words and went out to see what was wrong. I followed him out, and saw him opening the hood of the car, with a cloud of smoke being released from it. He sighed, and got something for the car from the trunk. “We’re in trouble.” Zayn mumbled. “Why? You have all the things you need to fix your car right there in your hand.” I replied confusedly. Zayn frowned a little bit, and mumbled, “I don’t know how to use it.” An amused smirk tugged at my lips. I finally sighed, and went over to Zayn and grabbed the materials. My dad being completely and totally obsessed with cars does come in handy. Well, let’s get to work.

Finally, the car was good to go. We hopped back into the car and Zayn drove off. Great, another awkward fifteen minutes, or so I thought. “So, how did you learn to do that?” Zayn asked. “Well, when I was a kid, my dad used to love cars, he would treat them as if it were his child, and he taught me some stuff along the way.” I replied casually.  “That’s cool. All my dad taught me was how to tie knots.” He replied with a chuckle. “My mom taught what to do if I ever get, uh, needs.” Zayn continued. This caused me to burst out laughing. Suddenly, the car ride wasn’t so awkward anymore.

~At the mall~

“C’mon Zayn, I still have to go dye my hair.” I said while I dragged Zayn through the mall. So far, we got twelve shopping bags, and I still haven’t dyed my hair. “Ugh, fine.” Zayn groaned, even though I could practically see the smirk in his face. We finally reached the salon, and I prepaid the lady.  “Don’t look at me until I come back!” I yelled at Zayn while the salon lady practically dragged me away.

After, I was done, I looked at my reflection, and I looked more stunning than I imagined. My red dyed hair perfectly complimented my skin tone, and brought out my blue eyes. I step out of the salon and see Zayn playing on his phone.  I coughed, and his head immediately snapped up. His eyes immediately widened, and his jaw looked like it could drop to the floor. “W-wow you look…. Amazing, b-beautiful.”  His cheeks flushed red, and he looked down at the floor. I found myself blushing too. “Thanks.” I smiled. “Zayn!” a girly, obnoxious voice came from behind. He turned around to see who it was, and his smile immediately fell. “Hey Perrie. We need to talk.” Zayn said, right before dragging the mysterious blonde away. I wonder what that was all about.

Zayn’s Point Of View

I dragged Perrie away, and turned to face her. “Look Perrie, this isn’t working out. Our relationship isn’t going to work out. I think we should break up. Could we still be friends?” I told Perrie. Her facial expression didn’t even look hurt, or sad at all, just shock, and hatred. She stomped on my foot and stormed away. I walked back to Liberty in silence. She didn’t ask any questions about Perrie on the way back.

When we returned to the house, I quickly ran up the stairs and ran up to my bed. I remember all of today’s events. Liberty fixing the car, Liberty laughing, her smile, the way she looks when she’s shocked. I love every single detail about her, even her flaws, that’s what makes her, her. I know it’s to early to say this, but I think that I might be falling for Liberty, hard.  I know we only spent one day together, but she makes me feel different than any other girl that I met before. I hope that there is a future together for us.

Authors Note:

Sorry for the short chapter. I was busy ok? I have a life too... Just kidding! (I don't) So... Do you think that there will be a future for Liberty and Zayn? Or for Liberty and Harry? Does Liberty feel the same way? I promise the next chapter will be longer than usual, but I will update late so... don't complain. Anyways, Bye!
