Taylor's Pov:

Why is everything so complicated? My life was so much better without Niall in it.

No drama. No kiss. No hate.

Just peace.

Maybe I should play some guitar?

Yeah. I've been singing and playing guitar more often lately.

The lessons Niall gave me actually helped me...

You fled from medication only cuz it causes pain

Before I could continue, Amber blasted into my room.

"What?" I asked her, and she was smiling widely.

"It's true!" She said and I gave her a look.

"What's true?" I asked her again.

"Josh and Niall said you were an amazing singer! And you are! You should so try out for X-Factor!" She squealed and I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, so Simon can embarrass me in front of the whole world, and crush my dreams." I said as a matter of factly.

"What?!" She said in disbelief. "You're amazing Taylor! If Simon says something I will personally go up to him and slap him silly. I'll punch him if I have to." She said seriously.

I gave her a look, but then we both started laughing.

"Please?" She begged giving me puppy eyes.

"No." I said bluntly.

"But my birthday is coming up! Do it for me!" She said and I giggled.

"I'll think about it alright? Only if you get out if here so I can rehearse." I threatened and she ran off.

Oh Amber...

Was I really that good? Nah, what am I talking about?! I probably suck. There's definitely going to be a lot better people there than me. I'll sound horribly awful compared to some other people...

But you know what they say, you'll never know until you try.

I think that's what they say.. The point is maybe I should try...
