"I don't deserve a girl like her." I mutter to myself
"She deserves better than me, Tyler seems like a great dude for her."
after getting clean I took up talking to myself, it gave me some pass time besides fighting people.
"I could go back to pills, she's the only one keeping me clean. the rest don't fucking believe me."
"No, I can't, she's my friend." that word lingered on my tongue friend that's all we were, we were friends.
"fuck it, who needs a no alcohol streak?" I popped open a bottle of Jack Daniels and poured some Pepsi into the cup with it. The warm fuzzy feeling came fast, I loved it.
"Maybe a few pills won't be such a bad idea."
"No I can't do that."
I started arguing with myself, eventually I resisted the temptation to get any pills.
I went to school and saw her in a gorgeous red top and jeans. I pulled my sleeves down hiding any wounds that may still be showing, I didn't want her to cut herself, if she found out i cut myself she wouldn't listen to me in the slightest when i attempted to help her.
then Carly walked up to me
"Hey, Big Boy."
"Hey."
"So my parents aren't home tonight, they have some wine that they won't notice missing, maybe you and i can have a little sleep over."
she leaned into my ear and whispered
"I don't wear pajamas, by the way."
"I...I"
I looked over at Katherine, and saw Tyler walk up to her and hug her.
fine, since you have your boyfriend maybe i should have some fun
"What's wrong sweetie?"
"I'd love to, Carly."
she gave me the same smirk she gave me the day we first hooked up
"I'll be waiting."
she blew a kiss and strutted off
God... what am i doing?
