An Unusual Surprise

Chapter 1

“I’ll talk to you tomorrow okay, Princess?” The Irish accent flowed out of my computer speaker. Niall looked at me from across the other side of the screen.

"Alright, I miss you.” I looked into his bright blue eyes, smiling when they lit up.

“I miss you more, more than anything; I wish I could wrap you up in my arms as we speak.” He smiled.

“Soon enough, eh?” I sighed, thinking of the next three months I would lie in bed alone, only his jacket and an oversized shirt to cuddle with which reminded me of him.

“It’ll go by fast, just you wait.” He smiled, a hint of disappointment clouded his normal happy domineer.

There was a knock at my door, before it slowly opened up.

 “Honey it’s almost midnight, your father and I are going to bed, keep it down a little, okay?” She looked at my computer screen, waving at the sight of the familiar blonde boy.

“Goodnight, Niall. Don’t keep her up too long now.” She smiled down at him.

"Of course, we were just about to get off actually. Have a good night!” He replied, smiling a bright smile once again.

“You too sweetie! Night hun.” She looked at me before shutting the door quietly behind her.

“So I’ll call you around 6PM your time.” His Irish accent flooded my ears once more.

“Yeah, that should be good...” I lingered on my sentence. Not wanting to say goodbye again.

 “Now, you should be going to sleep, you still have school tomorrow. Goodnight, Beautiful.” He said to me.

 “I know.” I frowned. “Goodnight, Niall.” I produced a half smiled.

He blew me a kiss, laughing. I instinctively laughed back, a cheesy smiling plastering my face.

“Talk to you tomorrow, Princess.” He smiled.

I gave him a small wave, before ending the call.

Shutting my laptop off, I placed it back on my desk, proceeding to wriggle under my covers, grabbing his jacket and wrapping it tightly around my body, breathing in the lingering smell of his cologne.

“This is going to be a long three months.” I thought to myself, before drifting off.
