A/N: Hoping to update on Wednesday :D

Enjoy!

I parked in my usual spot , shutting on the engine and lying my head lightly on the steering wheel.

“Ana, pull yourself together. I mean I miss Louis more than anything, but you don’t see me acting all emo and depressed.” Emilia half laughed.

“I know, and if things go wrong, I have you to help me right? Just like old times, before meeting the boys.” I peeked up from beneath my bangs that fell just short of my eyes.

“Of course! What are best friends for anyways?” She poked my side making me laugh.

“Okay, okay, let’s get to class.” I smiled, opening my door.

I grabbed my backpack from the back seat, along with Niall’s jacket and the cookies Emilia brought for me.

“Let’s go slow poke!” Emilia called from up on the sidewalk.

“Hold your horses! Geez.” I yelled back, pushing the door closed with my foot.

We walked up the small path, discussing the recent project in one of our classes when my phone began to ring.

“Oh, wonder who that could be.” Emilia laughed.

I stuck my tongue out at her, hoping she was right. When I retrieved my phone from my pocket the familiar picture of Niall was flashing on my phone.

I answered quickly. “Niall? Hello!” I smiled brightly.

“Good Mornin’ Princess” His voice was raspy, indicating he had just woken up.

“Emilia and I just made it to school, so I can’t talk for long.” I chewed on the bottom of my lip.

“That’s not a problem, just had a quick question.”

“Anything.” I answered quickly.

Niall chuckled. “What class do you have seventh period?”

A confused look spread across my face. “Uh, Emilia and I TA for Mrs. Swihart, why?”

“Just wondering.” I could detect the smile in his voice.

“What’re you up to now Mr. Horan.” I giggled/

Emilia looked at me with confusion. “What?” She asked quietly.

I mouthed the words ‘one minute’ to her.

“Oh nothing, just curious is all.” A small laugh escaped his lips.

“Sure. Well we’re walking in the building now. So I’ll talk to you later?” I hoped he would say yes.

“Of course. I love you!” He said, making my stomach fill with butterflies.

“I love you too, Ni. Bye!” I hung up the phone.

“What was that about?” Emilia asked, clearly confused.

“Niall called, to ask about what we have seventh period.” I told her, shrugging.

“Why?” She asked, curiosity peaking her voice.

“Heck if I know.” I laughed.

“Alrighty then, the mysterious Niall Horan is at it again.” She smiled back.

“What about Mr. Tomlinson? Have you talked to him recently?” I asked curiously.

“Of course, I always need my hit of Tomlinbacco.” She laughed.

I laughed. “I know, so how is he anyways?”

“Oh he’s fine. Misses me, same old same old.” She sighed.

“What’s wrong, Em?” I asked.

“Nothing. Just, I dunno. I feel like it’s the same old routine every time we talk. And he isn’t telling me what’s been going on lately.” She sighed again.

“I’m sorry, anyway I can help?” I asked.

She shrugged.

“If you need me to talk to him, or something, I can?” I questioned.

She nodded quickly.

“Alright, I will.” I promised.

“Thanks, you know how much he means to me Ana.”

“I know, I know. Don’t go crying on me now.” I nudged her a little.

She smiled. “I won’t! Not before class starts.”

We both walked into the classroom, laughing once more.
