2 hours later, I finally arrived at the airport. My flight was in 45 minutes. Shit.

I stepped out of the taxi and took my suitcase out, and it was pouring down with rain. I sighed.

typical British weather.

As the taxi drove away, I rushed inside and looked for the ticket counter. After I finally found it, I breathed a quick sigh of relief, but that soon disappeared as there was probably the longest line I had ever seen in my life at the counter.

20 minutes later, I'd finally got my tickets.

Gate A12, Seat 26B.

GATE A12 IS ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE AIRPORT! FUCK.

I ran. After I went through security and sorted my luggage, I finally got to my plane, just as the last person was going through.

WAIT!

I ran again as fast as I could, and made it. Just before the flight attendant closed the doors.

Okay, Seat 26A, ah here it is. Wait, what? Why is there someone in my seat?

"Excuse me? Hey!"

I tried shouting for the flight attendant to sort out my seat, but she couldn't hear me, and the guy in my seat was asleep so I didn't exactly want to disturb him.

Well this is going great so far. I almost missed my flight, and now someone's taken my seat. I guess I'm gonna have to find an empty one.

I walked through the plane, looking for any empty seats. I was about to give up until I saw two boys about my age, they looked pretty familiar, and an empty seat right next to one of them. One had messy dark hair, and one had slightly shorter hair with blond highlights. They both had brown eyes and looked almost the same.

Damn they look so familiar. Do I know them? I thought to myself again.

"Hey, um is this seat free?" I finally asked.
The one with longer hair started to speak, but the other boy cut him off. "No, sorry."

Ugh great. I'm never gonna find a seat on here. I carried on walking, and I'm pretty sure I heard them speaking as I walked away.

"Dude why did you say that?! You're always complaining about never having a girlfriend and when you finally have the chance to talk to a girl you blow it! She was hot too."

I laughed to myself. Me, hot? No way.

"Hey!"

Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around, and it was one of the boys from back there, the one with longer, dark hair.

Damn he's pretty good looking, I swear I recognize him from somewhere.

"Hey. Sorry about my brother, he's being dumb. The seat next to us is free, you can come and sit next to us if you want. I'm Ethan by the way, and my brother's Grayson."
"Oh thanks! Are you Ethan Dolan? I thought I recognized you from somewhere."

I was lowkey freaking out but I tried to stay calm and actually act like a normal person.

"Yeah," he laughed, "that's me."

We got back to the seats and I finally sat down and got my phone out to text Alexa.

Me: Hey! I'm finally on the flight, but you'll never guess who I'm sat next to. THE DOLAN TWINS!

Alexa: No way!

Me: That was my reaction too! This flight is gonna be real fun.
