Taking steps forward in my life and signing my first apartment lease. Knowing that in just over two weeks I will officially have an address of my own, apart from my parents for the first time in my life, living with the love of my life. Being able to support myself and make adult decisions makes me feel empowered and useful, a feeling that's uncommon for me.
