~Where we left off~
I waited for him to come back but he didn't.
'Where is he?'
I start to see smoke from the village
"Could he? No he wouldn't? Is he in the fire?"
I use my powers and start to fly up in the air
I make my way towards to village to help out
I land safely in the ground and look at the havoc in front of me
Everybody is trying to stop the fire from spreading i also see some maidens crying and children crying also.
'I wonder if he's ok?'
I start to help the wounded and attend to their cuts.
I wrap bandages around the severe cuts and disinfect them.
I attend all the people i can
I go to the next person and just stare in shock
I drop everything i'm holding and look at my beloved prince
He's full of severe cuts and bruises and has blood all over his beautiful kimono
I look at his pale white face and his now lifeless light green eyes
'You never did come back my prince'
I get on my knees and start to cry my eyes out like the rest of the people.
I look at his features that i loved so much from the start.
His pale complexion and now his stained in blood brown hair and those lifeless green eyes of his that i love so much.
I look at his kimono,Its all dirty and has a few holes from the fire
I look at his hand and see a shiny object in his hand that he is holding so tightly.
I slowly grab his pale white hand and look at the object he's holding.
I let out a sob
'So you did buy it after all,Syo'
On my palm is a wedding ring
The most beautiful wedding ring i have ever seen
He looked so peaceful like he was sleeping.
It felt almost like he would wake up from this infinite slumber and propose to me right here
I knew that wasn't true and he would never wake up again
"If only you were able to give to me" I said to him
I closed his eyes and put his hands on top of each other.
"I will never forget the prince that saved the princess from the castle"
I whispered as a new batch of fresh tears started to fall from my (e/c) eyes
I gave him one last kiss on the lips as my goodbye gift
I started to fly up in the air and leave the village unseen
As soon as i get to my shrine i get a thick string and pull out my wedding ring.
After i was finished i looked at my finished work
I had made a necklace out of an engagement ring and string
I carefully put the necklace on
'I will treasure this forever'

I looked at Nanami and saw her expression and i was shocked.
She was crying her eyes out
"(Y/n) That is such a sad love story"
"What happened to the necklace?" She asked.
I pulled out the necklace that i still have since all those years.
"Right here" I pull it out of my kimono and show it to her.
"Once Mikage told me that a goddess or God or Yokai is fallen in love they can never love again,Is that true?" She asked asked.
"It is but,someone can always love again" I said as i gave her a big and bright smile.

'I know you had loved once already but,I'll make sure you fall in love with me,(Y/n).'
