Exams came dooming everyone. Even the lazy students started attending classes and asked for notes and doubts. I felt tensed even though I finished revision.

I was standing near the balcony with Ria.

"Anki, are you attending next class? Or are you going to complete this chapter?"

" I don't know Ria. What are you going to do?"

"Rishika called me right now. She said there is an important meeting for the basketball players." Ria was a basketball star of the campus.

" oh ! At this time? You will be long?"

" I don't know. I may not come next period."

" then I'll wait for you here. I'll complete this chapter."

"I'll be back as soon as possible." She said assuring me and ran to the court.

This balcony gave the entire view of the school. I loved this place. It was peaceful and had an atmosphere to study. I was reading the book when Ms Madhur came.

"Ankita, have you completed the portions?"

" yes mam" I smiled at her confidently.

" we all expect a lot from you. Do well."

"Thank you mam"

Ms Madhur was my favourite teacher. She was always supportive. Her classes were brilliant. Some other students were also standing in the balcony and studying. There was a guy who looked familiar. I closely observed to find Rithik. My heart skipped a beat for unknown reasons. Blame the circumstances, at the right moment he looked at me. He saw I was staring. Why is it always this way?

I saw him walk towards me. He looked perfect. Sharp features, perfect body, seducing smile. He looked like some Greek god. He was wearing a dark blue jeans and a white shirt, which suited him very well. I gazed at him awestruck.

"Hi Ankita" he smiled. Oh god his voice was like music. I couldn't blame Ria.

"You remember me?" I felt happy he didn't forget me.

"Of course how can I forget the college star. I read your poem. It was beautiful."

"Oh. Thank you. But how?" I couldn't believe this conversation is happening.

"In the college magazine. Pranav showed me." He looked directly into my eyes.

"Oh" I didn't know what to talk.

"It was about the depth of love right? That's what I understood. Most poems about love are crap. But this one is different, you see. It makes even a heart as hard as stone melt." I know he meant it.

" Thank you so much. Biggest compliment."

" I really meant it ok? Wrote it for your boyfriend ? " he looked really interested.

"No. I don't have a boyfriend. It just came to me." I felt awkward.

There was a second of silence.

"I see." He said. "Ankita..." He repeated my name like the first time he did it.

I remained silent for I didn't know what to say.

" I really like your name."

I was about to tell him something when Ria came to us.

"Hi guys, what's up?" She asked in her usual tone.

" I got to go. Bye girls."he smiled at us. Before he turned he looked in my eyes. There was a hidden smile.
