Recap:
"Usually prophecies are harmless, just to help the pure blood to find its bond or happiness. Other times...it is to save the world from ending, as cheesy as it sounds."
"What is a bond?" I asked.
"Like your soulmate, you other half. That's your bond," he answered, smiling sadly.
"What happened to her, Floyd?" I asked. At first he was shocked but than sorrow and grief took over. He shook his head sadly and looked at me.
"She was killed, Cher," he choked out as a lone tear slid down his face.

Hurriedly, mother rushed into the room a few minutes after Floyd had calmed down and we sat in my room in comfortable silence.
"Floyd, get packing now. Pack all the necessities, leave everything else behind. The hunters are coming," mother said, panicking.
"Oh shit," he said, running into his room.
"Get packing now, honey. Bring some money, your birthday presents, clothes and passport. Go go go!" She commanded before going to her room to pack her own things.
Quickly, I got up and grabbed a duffel bag. I put on the necklace I received for my birthday, the cool metal on my skin calmed me down immediately. I put my swords into the duffel bag, a few loose t shirts as pajamas, shorts and shirts randomly thrown in. I grabbed my underwear and stuffed them all into the bag, not bothering to fold them. I didn't know who the hunters were, but judging by my family'a reaction to that, I'm sure they are some scary ass people. 'Hunters' aren't a very cuddly-buddy kind of term either. I threw in my passport and my travel bag full of toiletries. I quickly put on my sneakers and stuffed my favourite pair of sandals into the duffel bag. Grabbing a zip-lock bag, I stuffed it full of my emergency money and zipped the bag up. I put on a comfortable pair of jean shorts and a loose crop top and ran down the stairs. Floyd and mum was already downstairs and we rushed into mum's truck. We sped off, never looking back.

We were on the road for about three hours and I was getting restless. I know we would be heading to Camp Pure Blood but I was not a very patient person. Mum turned left and into a deep jungle.
"Mum! Where are we going!?" I screamed as the car rolls down the bumpy dirt hill.
"It's the only way to the camp, honey. Sit tight," she smiled and accelerated. I closed my eyes tightly, hugging Floyd as the car plummeted down the hill.
I opened my eyes to see-bad mistake. I see the ground getting closer and closer and just as the car was about to crash, it flew upwards and suspended in the air, lowering itself down carefully as it hit the ground.
"Perks of telepathy," my mother smirked.
"You did this?" I asked.
"Yup!" She said happily, popping the 'p'.
"Can Floyd do this?" I asked.
"Nah. The stronger your attraction to the moon, the more powers you possess. He's still young too," mom said.
"Oh, I see."
"Well, come on! Lets get moving!" Floyd interrupted.
"Boys," mom and I said in unison, rolling our eyes. She drove on the narrow bumpy road at a respectable speed. Not more than five minutes later, she pulled up to a huge gate.
The gate was made of metal and was about 10 meters high. In the middle of the gate, there is a engraving of a hand or something. My mother placed her hand in that and it started to glow. I glowed bright green and then to a bright yellow. The gate creaked open as mom got into the car and drove in. I was dumbfounded when I saw the huge mansion infront of me. It looked like an old roman-style mansion. It was white, the entire thing. But the thing that caught me off-guard wasn't the fact that the house, okay mansion, was huge, but the fact that there were people outside sword fighting, doing archery, levitating things and training themselves. I saw one blonde dude throwing fireballs at a girl that was freezing the fireballs. It was like the fireball flying towards her and suddenly, ZAP!, fireball becomes a snowball.
