Your P.O.V.

I finally got some sleep last night, it took about a whole 3rd season of AHS to make me tired, but eventually i got about 4 hours of sleep. I rub my eyes as I get up slowly walking to my dresser, I change into some ripped blue jean shorts and a black regular T-shirt with a pocket in the front. I walk to my bathroom and wash the leftover make-up that I didn't wash off last night from my face, I look at my tinted red cheeks and sigh. I put on some concealer, eyeliner, mascara and powder, I brush my teeth then walk down the stairs looking at the clock on my way down to the kitchen, 12:30, damn. I see my mom and Raina at the table, my mom is on her phone, as usual, and Raina is eating her pancakes, I sit next to Raina and smile "hey Rain's" I say ruffling her hair, she smiles at my gesture fixing her hair slightly, then looks at me "hey Sam, want a pancake?" She asks taking one off of her plate, I shake my head "I'm good, but thanks" she nods and goes back to eating, mom faces me and hangs up the phone "oh, Sam, Raina, Joy invited us to dinner tonight at a super nice restaurant, I smiled at the thought of Calum, then I got knocked back into reality and nodded "sounds fun..." She smiled "yeah, it will be, it's going to be a nice dinner, so Sam, you need to wear a skirt or a dress..." I hang my mouth open "mom, no..." I say, she nods "please Sam, just for tonight?" I sigh rubbing my temples "fine! Just tonight!" I say loudly frustrated, she squeals "yay!" She continues as she gets up "now I have to run some arrands, so I'll be back in about 2 hours, be ready by 6:00 for dinner" he says kissing the top of mine and Raina's head, she walks to the door "bye!" She yells out, I wave at her as Raina continues to eat her pancakes, I grab an apple off the counter and run up to my room not saying a word to Raina, I was pissed. I don't think she understands how embarrassing this is going to be for me, Calum is my best friend and he knows me well, he's gonna get a laugh out of this, this isn't funny though. I don't really mind dresses, doesn't mean I enjoy wearing them but I absolutely HATE skirts, and since I own no skirts, thank god, I have to wear a dress. They just make me feel uncomfortable in some way, guys pay more attention to me when I act more feminine, that makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I eat my apple and decide to watch a movie on Netflix, I plug in my ear buds and turn on mean girls, never get tired of this movie

My mom was gone for a while longer than she said she would be, so I ended up having a movie marathon until about 5:00, I decide it's time to get ready so I get up and close my laptop. My mom comes rushing through my door "be ready in an hour!" She yells quickly before shutting my door and running back down the hallway. I walk to my closet and grab out a black skater dress with a sweetheart neckline and thick tank top straps, I grab a pair of my black flats and slip them on, I walked over to my mirror. I looked at myself, I actually felt really pretty, I shook off the thought and walked to my bathroom and curled my hair quickly, I pinned some hair out of my face and did my makeup, mascara, eyeliner, powder and concealer, the usual. I grab my phone and check the time, 6:01, i run down the stairs and come to a sudden hault at my mother and Raina, she smiles at me "you look beautiful honey" I smile as she tells us to go to the car, I hop in the front seat and text calum

I smiled and put my phone down, the drive is really short, the place we're going to is an Italian restaurant, it's in the nice part of town, so when people go there they dress up super fancy. We soon reach the restaurant and i get out of the car as did Raina and my mom, Joy and my mom are really good friends, they knew each other in high school, they were both on the swim team in junior year, same year me and calum are in now. I remember that I am in a dress and I get quite nervous, not many people have seen me in dresses, it was a rarity for me, i sigh and walk in behind my sister and mom, i see Joy, Mali, and Calum all sitting down at a bid round table. Joy smiles and gets up when she see's us, her and my mom hug and say their hello's, i can feel calum staring at me the whole time, Joy walks up to me and smiles hugging me "aww, Sam, how are you dear?" she asks pulling away from the quick hug, i smile back "I'm doing well..." she nods "yes, I'm glad" she walks over to Raina and hugs her making small talk with her, Mali gets up and hugs me "ugh, how are you Sam?! You never never come over anymore! And Calum won't shut up about you lately, are you guys a thing?" she says smiling cheekily at me, i roll my eyes "I'm good, and we should get together soon, me and calum are NOT a thing..." i say, she nods "Don't deny the feelings Sam..." she says winking and sitting back down at the table, Mali and I are really good friends, besides Alex, she is the only GIRL friend i have. We have known each other since me and calum were in kindergarten. She was in 2nd grade then, our families are really close together, my mom and Joy are like sisters, i see Mali talking to Raina and hugging her in the booth, i feel a tap on my shoulder as i turn around. I see a smiling Calum and i smile to, he is wearing a black button up and some grey jeans, he is wearing some black converse, and his hair is in its natural curls "hey..." i say, he scratches the back of his neck nervously "uh-hi...wow..." he says looking me up and down making me blush, he breaks the awkwardness by pulling me into a tight hug and i wrap my arms around his neck, his finding their way around my waist, he pulls tightly before pulling away, he sits down as i sit across from him, i sit next to Mali and Raina on either side of me, calum is sitting next to Joy, who is next to Raina, Calum is also sitting next to my mom, who is next to Mali, we are facing each other perfectly. As we make conversation and eat our food i can feel and see calum staring right at me the whole time, Mali giggles "you ok there Calum?" she asks smirking, he is knocked out o this trance and faces her "what-oh yeah, I'm ok..." he says nervously, he starts eating his food, still every one in a while i catch him staring at me, Joy laughs "Oh Calum, just say she's pretty and get on with it, your freaking the girl out..." she says giggling, Calum blushes and scratches the back of his neck, i blush also, he smiles at me "uh-you look really pretty Sam..." he says nervously, i nod "thanks Cal..." Calum smiles at me before taking another bite of his food, i clear my throat before Joy asks me a question "So Sam, how is school for you and Calum?" she asks, i swallow my food before answering "its going pretty well for me, and i know that the band has been practicing a lot lately, they sound really well..." calum flashes me a smile before my mum speaks "Oh yes, the band, what do you play again Calum?" she asks with curiosity, he faces her "I play the bass and i also do vocals..." he said as he smiled, she nodded and turned back to Joy, i take my water in my hand drinking it, Raina tugged on my arm, she motioned for me to lean in to her ear, so i did "Are you and Calum dating?" she asks, i choke on my water a bit, everyone faces me "Are you ok honey?" my mom asks in concern, i chuckle catching my breath "yeah, I'm ok..." i say, they all nod and go back to their conversations, i lean back to Raina "No, we're just friends Rain's" she frowns "Thats too bad, its obvious that he likes you..." my eyes go wide when she says that, she starts eating her ravioli not saying another word, i bite down on my lip, calum looks at me and mouths 'Are you ok?' i nod and mouth back 'Yeah, just a bit tired' he nods and goes back to eating his spaghetti, i sigh, what did Raina mean? She's only in the 6th grade, she barely know's anything about relationships, and anyways why does she care so much? I shake the thought away and finished eating my gnocchi, we all finish quite early and Joy invites us over to her house. My mom agrees and we all get up from the table, i was walking when a hand pulls on mine dragging me backwards into a tall figure, i giggle as i know who it was, he spins me around to face him "I really did mean it..." he said looking into my eyes, i look at him in confusion "But you don't look pretty" I don't know why but that brought my confidence down, i looked at my shoes, he suddenly moved his hand under my chin making me look at him "You look stunning..." he said, i smiled and bit my lip, he smiled and leaned down leaving a long lingering kiss on my cheek "ahem..." i heard a voice say behind me, we both pull away quickly and face the person who spoke, its Mali, she's smirking "not a thing my ass..." she mutters, me and calum just stand there in shock, i see his cheeks turn a slight pink color as mine do the same "Well? you guys gonna stand there or what? I want ice cream..." she whines, we both nod and follow her to the car, Joy and my mom were standing there in worry "lets go!" my mom says loudly, calum grabs onto my hand and tugs on it and pecks my cheek really quickly while no one is paying attention, he gets in his mom's car as i do the same with my mom, we follow them back to their house as Raina insists that we play Ariana Grande on the way to Joy's house, i groan and put on my headphones blocking out the music that was coming from the speakers of her car and replacing it with my own. The whole time i was in that car i was thinking about Calum, what does all of this mean? Are me and Calum a thing? He hasn't asked me out on a date, and i thought we were just friends, considering the way he has been acting towards me lately i guess not, i shake off the thought, not wanting to get into more detail in my head. We continue driving to Joy's house as i look down at the bright screen that sits in front of my face. The car comes to a hautling stop, i look up from my phone to see her house in front of me, i turn off my music and put my phone in my back pocket, making sure to wrap my headphones around my phone first, we walk up to the front door with Joy and her family as she opens the door. We walk in, i admire all of the features of her beautiful house, her house was honestly one of the nicest i have ever been in, i loved coming over here. Before Joy can say anything Calum grabs my hand and pulls me up the stairs to his room and closes the door behind him, i look at him confused "Mali was going to say something witty, i decided to save us the trouble and get out of their before she could say it..." i giggle as he pants in breathlessness, he stands back up "We only ran like 15 feet..." i say giggling, he chuckles "that was the longest 15 feet of my life" he says, i giggle "Excuse me 'Star Football Player' doesn't your coach make you run like 5 miles a day?" he nods "i'm good at it when I'm in the sports mood, otherwise its not worth it..." i nod, Calum was on the football team (Soccer) he was actually team captain, not even Reese had that title, a lot of girls wanted to date him, more like drooled over him because I'm not gonna lie he was attractive, also because he was just a good person, mostly because he was attractive though. Reese was popular, obviously, but not as much as calum, to be honest calum was extremely popular. Calum liked to think that he had two different sides to him, his sports side, and his music side, he would always have to compromise the two because having a band and being the captain of a football team is time consuming. It was very difficult for him because whenever the guys had a band meeting somehow their practice would be on the same day, he was just a very busy person, Calum didn't like being popular. All of the people surrounding him didn't satisfy him, thats why he was friends with us 'The Misfit Toys' people like to think they know Calum, but they don't, most people think that he is just another attractive jock or popular guy, but he wasn't, he was Calum Hood. The guy that could make you smile even when its the worst day of our life, the guy that was there for you when no one else is, the guy that understands you when you think your alone, he was my best friend, and nobody else knew him like i did. Not even Luke, Ashton, Alex, or Michael knew him as much as i did, we had just known each other longer, he would always open up to me whenever he needed something, same goes to him, whenever i needed to talk to someone i would go straight to Calum. He was always there for me and i was always there for him. He stared at me "you ok?" he asked, i realized that i had zoned out, i nodded nervously "yeah...just zoned out..." he nods "oh, ok, OOH! Lets play truth or dare!" i nod, as his face lights up with excitement "ok...you go first, i can't think of anything..." he nodded "truth or dare sam?" he asked smirking, i sighed "dare, i guess..." he smiled hugely "i dare you to...text your grandma and tell her your pregnant!" i face palm and groan in frustration "God i hate you..." i mutter getting my phone out, he smirks "i'm pretty sure you love me..." i roll my eyes and type in the message

"Done! Happy?!" i say loudly, he shakes his head "show me" i roll my eyes and show him the text, he sighs "no reply, damn" he said, i rolled my eyes and take my phone back from his hand

About an hour later my mom and Joy are still talking, Mali walked Raina home because she had school tomorrow, luckily we didn't, it was a teacher prepping day at our school, we have it on monday's about twice every month. We were sitting on calum's bed, he had an arm slung lazily around my shoulder and we were still playing truth or dare, he sighed "I can't think of anything els- WAIT! I have a good one!" he says sitting up, he grabs my phone out of my hand "Hey! What gives cal?!" i say playfully trying to get it from his hand, he pushes me back lightly and holds my phone out of my reach, he smirks "The only way to get your phone back is to do this dare..." i groan "Fine! What do you want me to do?" i ask, he smirks "Kiss me..." i look at him in shock "w-what?" i ask nervously, he chuckles "you heard me, a real kiss, on the lips..." he said, i rolled my eyes "I am not doing that!" i say frustrated, secretly i wanted him to kiss me "You want your phone back or not?" he asked mocking me, i sigh "Fine! But only to get my phone back!" i said, I sat up with Calum, he cupped my cheek and leaned in, his soft plump lips coming in contact with mine, our lips moved in sync as he grabbed onto my waist, i kissed back and wrapped my arms around his neck. Suddenly i forgot all about my phone, actually i forgot about everything, nothing seemed to matter around me, just me and him mattered and nothing else, he deepened the kiss by licking my lips asking for entrance. I agreed letting him explore my mouth, i didn't think the kiss would get so intense like this, he tugged on my shirt, not trying to take it off, just to tease me a bit. He leaned me back against the back wall of his bed, he pulled on my waist trying to fill in the space between us, soon there was nothing left but our bodies touching in the space that was once empty. He bites my bottom lip slightly as he pulls away, I'm in total shock, I let the kiss go on for too long, I-I was enjoying it?! That kiss gave me butterflies in my stomach that iv'e never felt before, even with Reese, he never made me feel this way. Calum stared at me "Y-You kissed back..." he said in shock, i suddenly felt a wave of confidence and move up to Calum and placed a kiss on his lips and quickly pulled away "yeah, i did kiss back..." our faces were inches apart, he smiled "go out with me..." he said, i nodded, he cheered in happiness and tackled me onto the bed so that he was hovering over me, he pecked my lips quickly pulling away "you have no idea how long i have been waiting to do that..." he says taking a deep breath, i smile "i think i have a pretty good picture of it..." i say giggling, he smiles and gets off of me so that i can get up "Since you have agreed to go out with me, what about tomrrow?" he asks, i nod "ok, what will we be doing?" i ask, he sits there and thinks until a smile appears on his face "It's a surprise..." he said, i groaned "Calum...just tell me..." i say, he shakes his head "Sorry babe, can't do that" he says with a cheeky grin, that nickname send butterflies into my stomach, I sighed "Fine! Don't tell me!" I say leaning back down onto the bed, I curl up into a ball "what are you doing?" Calum asks giggling, I groan "I'm tired, I got no sleep last night..." I at dazily, he nods his head and gets up out of the room, after a couple of minutes he comes back into the room and sits down next to me "I told my mom and yours that you fell asleep in my room, so your going to spend the night, I turned around facing him and smirked "so I'm spending the night huh?" I say, he nods and smiles "yep you are..." He says wiggling his eyebrows and leaning towards me, I giggle and push him back "slow down there tiger..." He sighs "can't blame a guy for trying..." I giggle again as he lays next to me, he wraps his arms around my waist to pull me closer to is body, I nuzzle my face into his chest and listen to the slow and steady beating of his heart "get some rest..." He says kissing my cheek, I look up and nod "night Cal..." I say nuzzling back into his chest, he smiles "night princess..." He whispers before we both fall asleep.
