One night I woke up to yelling and screaming, I get out of bed and I see that my parents are fighting and its starting to get violent, I scream for help because i was starting to get beat, I kept screaming and screaming until finally my brother came running out of his room, I gave him the phone and he called 911 , my dad heard that the police were on the way and he started getting more violent. Finally after 5 minutes of waiting for the police, they showed up. They took my dad out side into custody and put him in cuffs, that was the worst sight of my life, seeing my father get put into the back of the police car , made me break, I couldn't handle it. A couple days after I got news, and it wasn't what I wanted to hear, they called and said my dad would be locked away for 6 years, and we would be taken away from our mother.. It was so hard hearing the news , but my mom said its best for us and for her.
