Chapter 19

~* Sadie's POV *~

"Ladies and gentlemen will you please return to you're seats and fasten you're seatbelt as we will be coming into land shortly. Thank you."

I woke up from the pilot announcing we are near to landing. I looked up to see I had fallen asleep on Liam's chest and he was still fast asleep. I didn't want to go through the landing experience alone so I decided to wake Liam up.

"Liam... babe, wake up." I gently shake Liam awake until I see those eye lids flutter open and those chocolate brown orbs staring into mine. He leans down and gives me a quick peck on the lips before pulling away and looking out the window. 

"Are we almost there then?" He questions me, as we can see land below us.

"yeah, the pilot just said we're close to landing." I told him. I was very exited in coming to Los Angeles as it has been on of my top place to visit. I have always wanted to go and get an experience from it. I know this must sound weird but it's true. I just want to visit LA and see what its actually like.

I felt the plane dip as we were coming into land, at this point the nerves started to kick in and  I started to shake from fear. I gripped onto Liam hand and arm tighter and squeezed my eyes shut. I felt Liam lean down and kiss my forehead multiple times and whisper soothing words to me that were helping the situation a bit.

"You're okay, I'm here, You're okay, We'll be there in a minute. Think about when we went paintballing with the boys." he whispered to me.

Now that had me thinking back to that day.

-Flashback to that day-

"Where are you taking me? YOU BETTER NOT BE KIDNAPPING ME!" I exclaimed at the five boys who have driven onto a dirt road in a forest, and they will not tell me where were are going.

"You will like it babe I promise, but you're going to have to wait." Liam told me. Why are boys so typical? 

 "Ugghh.... How are you even my boyfriend?" I questioned him, fascinated in what his answer could be.

"Because you love me babe." He shot back at me with a big toothy smile.

"Can I guess then?" I asked because I hate surprises.

"Yeah, I don't see why not?" Louis answered.

 "Okay hummm...... bowling?"

"Nope!" Zayn replied.

"picnic, assault course?"  

"No and no" Harry said.

"Taking me to rapists or murderers?"

"Defiantly not!" Liam exclaimed.

"Uggh, okay this is boring I give up." I said hoping they will tell me but however, my hopes were declined.

"Nope still not telling you. Hahaha you will have to wait." Louis told me. I just sunk back into my seat waiting till we reach our destination.

Ten minutes passed and the car finally stopped moving. I rose up in my seat and looked out the window to see where we are , when I looked at the sign on top of the door it read 'Delta Force Paintballing'. (A/N: this is an actual paintballing place near London)

We all jumped out the van and headed in. Once inside everything was very combat themed but what would you expect? We went over and paid for our turn and information. Liam of course paid for me as always, and we were lead into a different room.

 The tour person, showing us around then directed us into a room which was full of protective suits, helmets and covering a whole wall, paintballing guns.

"Now, do you all know how to play?" The instructor guy asked us. 

 "YES!" Was our loud, enthusiastic reply.

"Well in that case, lets get you all geared up and get you out there."

We all soon got out gear on and we ventured out into the paint cover trees. We all decided to go in two's.

Me and Liam.

Louis and Zayn.

Harry and Niall.  

 "Okay, you guys have 20 minutes. 5...4...3...2...1...GO!" The over voice called.

We all ran off in different directions, all trying to find a place to hide in the woods. Harry and Niall went straight ahead while Louis and Zayn went left and me and Liam went right.

After about 5 minutes, me and Liam settled under a large fallen down tree trunk. We could here the others getting shot, but we stayed put.

Finally when everything became quiet we emerged out of our hiding spot.

I bent over staying close to the ground in hope to blend in a bit, but Liam however decided to dive straight into the 'battlefield' and with under 5 seconds shots of the paintball guns were fired. In order to defend Liam, in a quick and sly motion. I jumped out of my hiding spot and all in one dive, I aimed, shot and hit Harry and Niall who were huddled together behind a small bush.

I landed just in front of Liam, faced down. I quickly got up and grabbed Liam and ran. Once again we found another hiding spot, this time behind a stack of hay-bails. We waited another few minutes before we heard Zayn deep accent just on the other side of the hay-bails.

"Did you see where they went?" We heard Zayn say.

"No, I only saw them run in this direction." Louis replied. 

I looked at Liam and he looked at me. I put my finger to my lips and then counted to three with my fingers. After three we both jumped up and fired ahead in hope of shooting Zayn or Louis. Luckily we managed to do it.

We finally stopped firing and dropped out guns. I turned to Liam and without thinking I jumped into his arms, laughing and hugging him. We had won! He put me down and placed his hands on my cheeks before kissing me.

We broke the kiss, both of us smiling and we made our way back to the hut. We met the boys back at the hut, unchanging. Luckily we had our clothes on underneath and got out of the over-all's. We made it back to the mini bus and all piled in.

Me and Liam got in the back 2 seats and whispered quietly to each other, with smiles on out faces as the boys sulked in front of us.

I leant against Liam and shut my eyes, Liam kissing and whispering sweet things into my ear as I fell into a deep sleep. 

- Back To Reality -

I opened my eyes to find a hand shaking my shoulder.

"We've landed babe. You did so well." Liam encouragingly smiled at me.

"Yeah well don't expect me to get back on a plane anytime soon."

We got up and made our way out of first class and out of the plane. As soon as we stepped outside the hot LA sun hit my face like a tonne of bricks.

"Hello Los Angeles!"

I know, I know!!! Almost a year since I have last updated.

But I have several reasons as to why:

- Exams and REVISION!!

- Homework

- Special Occasions

and just a writers block, every time I would come on to write this story, I would write a few words and be completely stuck and come back to it.
