The truth

"Wait!" I call after Mady as she runs down the stairs to the door
"I don't want to hurt you." She says as she stops at the door and looks at me

I stop at the top of the stairs.... I look at her face, it's filled with horror and she looks at me with scared eyes...

"Mady... Just let me help you.." I say gently
"I have to go... I don't want to hurt you, I'm sorry Andy.." She closes the door and I fall to the ground.... I could help her... If she'd let me, ever since we started to take our relationship to the next level she has pushed me away..

"Andy.. Why is Mady driving away?" Jake says as he walks through the door
"She wouldn't let me help her..." I look out the window as her car drives out the driveway
"What did she do?" He walks up the stairs towards me
"Mady and I were mucking around being stupid up stairs and then her eyes when red... Pure red... Sort of glowing, and she jump up and ran down stairs.... I tried to stop her but she left..." I say
"We will sort this out, let's just find her first..." Jake helps me up and we walk to his car...

Jinxx and Ella were in the car..

"Hey Jinxx, hey Ellz." I say as I get in
"Hey Andrew." Ella smiles, Jinxx just smiles slightly
"Sup." Jinxx says
"Did you see which way Mady went?" I say as Jake starts the car
"Um, she went the way to the bridge... I think.." He says pulling out of the driveway
"The bridge? Why would she go there?"
"Dunno."

We drive in silence until we get to the entrance of the bridge... I see Mady she is kneeling on the road beside her car... I open the door as Jake pulled over..

"Mady?" I slowly walk over to her

She looks at me with her eyes... She has four of them... They are red... Her skin is turning tan... Mady stands up, and starts to sprint towards the park....

"Mady! Wait!" I yell after her... I run after her as Jake, Ella and Jinxx follow in the car... Mady disappears into the trees as I catch up to her...

"Mady! I just want to talk!" I hear rustling and then silence... I stand under the tree looking for her...

"Andy!" Jake calls from the car
"What?" I turn to face Jake, Cc and Ashley are standing next to him...
"Where did she go?" Jake asks walking over with the guys
"Up in the trees." I look up
"How did she jump up there?" He looks up the tree
"She is very flexible." Ashley giggled as I said this
"Hehe, flexible..." He giggles
"Shut up, this is serious." I punch him in the arm
"Mady?!" Jake calls up the tree

A growl comes from the tree above, we snap our heads upwards... She starts to move along the row of trees... Fast... I see her, her jeans are ripped and dirty...

"Hey Biersack." Jay says as she walks towards us holding a leash with her dog Godzilla
"Hey Jay." She looks at Jake and Cc who are calling Mady's name and running after her
"Who are you chasing?" She pats Godzilla
"Mady."
"Why?" She looks at me funny
"Because she changed... And I... I want to help her, but she ran out, she said that she didn't want to hurt me..." Cc runs to the last tree and holds is arms up as if he is going to catch something
"Oh no.... You guys have to get out of here, your not safe... Cc! Go home, your in danger, leave her!" She hands Godzilla to Ash and runs over to him...
"Danger?" I mutter to myself... I look at Ashley, he is patting Godzilla and looking at Jay as she runs...
"Ash? What are you doing?" I walk over to him
"Looking at my girlfriend, why?"
"Shouldn't you be helping?"
"I am, I'm holding her dog." He gives me a short smile and itches his hand
"Well, I'm gonna go to my girlfriend... Don't go anywhere."
"Ok." He pats the dog and I run over to help Jay and Cc

Mady is hissing and growling... What is wrong with her... I look up in the tree, Mady looks at me, her beautiful mud brown eyes are lost in darkness...

"Cc move, I can't handle her.. I just need you guys to leave." She grabs Cc's and my hands and drags us both back to Jinxx, Jake and Ashley...
"But I wanna help." Cc whined
"Sorry dude but only I can help her." Jay walks us back to the car

She closes the door after Ash got in... They were talking for a while, they kissed and Jay walked off as we drove away... I turn around to see Jay disappear into shadows and a red light emerging from behind the tree... I wonder what's going on...

------- 4 hours later

"Where are they." I pace the room
"Just calm down, I texted Jay half an hour ago, she said she'll be here when she gets here." Jake says taking a drink from his glass
"I can't wait that long." I pout and stop walking
"What do you think happened to Mady?" Cc asked
"I dunno, we were mucking around in the room and then her eyes changed, she ran out and yeah." I see Jay's car pull up in the driveway
"Speaking of the devil." Ashley turns to the window above the couch
"Jay is not a devil... At least not in the morning, but I'm not so sure about night time."
"Eww." Cc runs to the bathroom and I hear him throwing up
"Haha." Ashley laughs and Jay and Mady walk through the door with their jackets zipped up and their hoods on
"Hey babe." Ash gets up and hug Jay... The hug for what seemed like forever... They stood in the lounge room just embraced in each other's arms...
"Hey Mad." I smile and she runs into me and buries her head in my shirt
"I'm so sorry." She whispered
"What for?" I lay my head on her head
"For seeing me do that, I tried to control myself but..." She trails off
"Why didn't you let me help you? I could have helped." I kiss her head
"I know you would, but this is something no one can fix..." She kisses me and walks up stairs hitting herself in the leg..

"I'll be up in a minuet." I say, she stops at the top of the stairs and nods slightly
"What happened?" Ash says as he and Jay let go
"I don't want to talk about it." Jay sat on Ash's lap and hugged his neck
"Anyone want pizza?" Jake waves his phone around
"Sure."

Jake gets us to order what we want, and Mady comes down stairs...

"You want pizza?" I say as Jake hangs up the phone
"No, um Jay can I speak to you for a second?" She says quietly
"Sure." She kisses Ashley and walks with Mady upstairs... They close the door...

-------- 7 minuets later

"Pizzas here!" Jake screams as he looks out the window as he has done for the past 10 minuets
"I'm starving!" Cc says patting his noisy stomach
"Mm." Jinxx says as the pizza guy knocks at the door
