Taylor's P.O.V

I was up early today preparing for Becca's preschool graduation. She was so excited that she heard me get up and met me at the top of the stairs. "Mommy..." she had said, tugging on my pyjama pants. I turned to her and picked her up. She chattered away for most of the morning, and when all the other kids came in for breakfast they all congratulated her and said they were super proud of her, even Flynn and they fight all the time. Pretty soon they left for school, I gave Ryan the car keys to drive them all today and he looked excited, he got his permit six months ago so we let him drive the old Hummer I used to have when I first learnt, amazingly he thought it was really cool and didn't mind it at all. Becca would be staying with me today because they only had to come in for the ceremony. Karlie stumbled downstairs at 8.30am and I was getting Becca dressed. By 9.00am Karlie came into me as I was putting on make-up and she kissed me goodbye. "See you later right Karlie?" I questioned as she smiled and nodded before grabbing the keys to her black ranger rover that she drives while I used the Audi Q5 since Becca's booster seat was in it already. I sighed as I glanced in the mirror admiring my make-up, it was light and airy and would keep for the day until 12.00pm when the ceremony started but before that Becca and I were heading to Selena's for coffee and for Becca and April can play while we talk. It happens every week and we just debrief. "Ready to go Becca bug?" I question as she arrives in front of me with everything done except her hair that I pull into a high ponytail and then we leave.

Arriving at Selena's house nearly fifteen minutes later April answers the door and her and Becca rush off to play and I am left in the foyer. "Is that you Tay?" Selena calls from the kitchen. I yell back that it's me as I walk into her kitchen. Their house layout is amazing and their kitchen gets good sun. Almost as good as my kitchen. "So what's happening today Tay? I thought Karlie would be with you." I shake my head, it's almost hard to believe that Selena and I fixed our friendship after it struggled when I moved to New York. "Nope she's out for coffee." I state as Selena hands me a cup of tea.
"Why? Today's the ceremony. This only happens once and it's your last child." Selena states almost shocked. "I know Selena, but I can't force her. She needs to remember things too." Selena nods and takes a sip. "Wait, who is she having coffee with?" I shoot her a look. "Okay, forget I asked." She states holding her hands up in surrender. "Cara," I whisper as Selena turns to me.
"Cara, as in Cara Delavigne who went on TV claiming that her and Karlie were a thing. That Cara?" I nod, I can't do much else because it's all true. "Wow. Amazing, are they friends again?"
"I don't know Selena, she let her into our home yesterday. She did ask but am I going to say no without creating a fight. I don't know maybe we have hit a wall. I feel like we are sometimes only there for the kids, well I am. I hope Karlie comes today, if not this is a major issue for us." Selena nods and we talk for another hour before going out for lunch and heading to the preschool. I glance around the parking lot for Karlie's range rover but don't see it. Sighing I pick up Becca and we walk in.

The hall is soon filled with the speeches from the preschool teachers about how wonderful our children have been progressing. I glance to my right and see Selena and her husband Mike sitting there holding hands and as I glance at the empty seat on my left I sigh. When Becca's class is called I stand with the other parents and clap as they all receive certificates, we are about to sit down when Becca's teacher Rebecca Morris calls for the specialist awards for her class. "Hi parents, this year I decided to award someone from my class with a special award. This student is one who is always friendly and happy to help anyone in the class. This child has been excelling in their studies and will have a lot of fun starting first grade next year. So this year the special award goes to Becca Swift-Kloss." My eyes water as I stand up and clap for Becca as she receives her award and turns and sees me standing up and clapping before going back to her seat with Miss Morris. The ceremony ends shortly after and the principal tells us that we can collect our children and leave. I turn to Selena and Mike and we all hug. "Well there goes my last baby Selena." I state as we walk to collect the kids. Mike laughs and says it was just as emotional as the day Selena gave birth to April. I laugh as Selena whacks him. "Don't say that Mike." I shake my head as I walk up to Becca.
"Mommy!" she screams and jumps into my waiting arms. I hug her close. "Look mommy, I got two." I smile at her. "Yes you did. I'm so proud of you. We will ring nana and granddad later and tell them then grandma and grandpa tonight when they will be up." I watch Becca nod and then she looks around. "Where's mama?" Selena gasps from beside me and covers me not answering by saying. "Who wants to go for ice-cream?" Both the girls scream and yell out that they want to as we laugh and I take Becca and we decide to do it at my place since it's closer.
