Sydney's POV

'How long have i been sitting in this car for, like 5 minutes. Why don i just go in, after all, this is my job now.' I thought to myself. After another 2 minutes debating whether or not I should go in, I finally get out of the car and start to walk towards the door of the giant building. Lewis told me to go up to the fourth floor, he also told me there would be someone there to greet me.
The elevator door opens and I see Simon standing there. Before I can do anything I'm wrapped up in a giant, bone crushing hug. I would have blocked my ears for the next part but I couldn't move at all. "Awwwwwwwwwwwww" came the famous, ear splitting yell, "welcome to the YOGSCAST" he said in the voice he puts on when he's reading a book in minecraft. God it's so hard not to love the adorable idiot. Actually, I take that back, it's really easy to not love him when all your bones are merging into one. "SIMON, don't kill her" he lets me go and steps aside to show Kim behind him. "Sorry about that, Lewis is going to want to see you. His office is right up the back, on the left." "Thanks" I say, trying to contain the fangirling.
I make my way down the hall to Lewis's room and knock. "Come in" he replies. With that I swing open the door to see him sitting in his chair facing me, "hi Lewis" "oh, hello Sydney. I assume you want to meet everyone, most of them should be in the common room, come on." He says, getting up out of his chair. I follow him out of the room and down the hall. He turns the corner into a large room, filled with all the yogs, even Area 11 are hear. Well everyone but what looks to be Duncan. "Everyone, this is Sydney, the new editor." A chorus of 'hi's and 'hello's went throughout the room. Lewis turns to Turps who is standing beside him, "is everybody here" "everybody but Duncan" Turps replies, "thanks." Lewis turns back to me, "you can introduce yourself to everyone, Duncan's office is next to mine, ok" "ok."
After introducing myself to everyone in the common room, somehow without creeping them out too much, I sneak out and turn towards Duncan's office. Just as I turn, I see a giant linger over me. "Sydney?" Yep, thats me. Sydney Ravenswood, I'm the new edi..." "You don't recognize me do you?" That completely through me off, had I known the YOGSCAST Duncan before without knowing it? How does he know me? And why do I have so many questions? I just stood there with a blank expression, "from about... Twelve years ago" he continued "the boy who moved to Bristol half way through high school." Then i saw it. My idol, and my favorite person in the world was my one and only friend from high school. I had watched my best friend, and crush, play video games on YouTube every day for years. "Oh. My. God... It... It is you, Duncan!" I said flinging myself at him, and for the first time in twelve years, I was truly happy.
