Its final, today is the day I am destined to end my life. I am standing in a building full of random people staring at me as if I was an alien. I'm just the new girl. The shouts, the whistles the murmurs, I can't handle it.
Damn you parents! Why was I forced to move school, why did I have to travel half way around the world because my father thought it would be nice to move house. In other words my father thought it would be nice to completely ruin my life.
So now here I am, standing in a building they call High School. Its hard enough being the new girl, but now I have to be the New girl with the posh British accent.
Scanning the crowded corridors, the people pushing past and the people staring like owls. I slowly started moving across what seemed to look like a never ending hall way.
Finally I spotted a small office which had a sign reading Reception, I sighed internally before pushing down the handle and almost sprinting towards the tall wooden desk. An old woman with red glasses sat behind the desk typing away on the computer in front of her.
I cleared my throat to catch her attention. The woman looked up, raising a bony finger to push her glasses further up her nose. She peered at me in a thoughtful manner.
"How may I help you?" She spoke in a croaked voice.
"Hello, sorry I'm new here, my name is Hayley Jones and I have no idea what to do first!" I replied to her as politely as I could. She let out a small chuckle, and looked at me just as the students had earlier.
"Oh and you happen to be British, well honey let me tell you the accent is definitely going to cause you teasing." She chuckled once more. Well what a lovely way to welcome me, that has definitely made my life a lot easier. Thank you annoying woman as if I wasn't aware of my sad life already.
"Alright, well here is your planner and locker key, let me just call a teacher who has a student who has the same lessons as you." The woman said passing me my equipment a small smirk playing on her lips.
She picked up the phone by her desk and pressed a button on the machine before pressing it to her ear, as she did so she began to tap her long finger nails against the desk and I was very close to screaming in frustration.
I made a note to myself to avoid going to the reception as much as I could. The person on the other line muttered something to her which she replied to mentioning a girls name I didn't quite catch.
"Go and take a seat over there please." She said pointing to the seats, I obediently did as she said.
As I sat there I noticed three boys walk out of what seemed to be the principals office the three of them chuckling and laughing. They were undoubtedly gorgeous and judging by their attitude and the amount of people staring at them they must be popular.
They completely walked passed me ignoring me not even a glance, as if I was oblivious to existing. Now of course I wasn't expecting them to stare but everyone else seemed to notice me as soon as I set foot into the school and they didn't even notice me they just walked past me like I was a ghost.
Yes, they are most definitely the Jerks of the school, especially the one with the gorgeous eyes in the front who was wearing a leather jacket and earning giggles from all the girls.
I rolled my eyes, stupid high schools. The players, the cheerleaders the cliques. Oh the list could go on forever. Just as I was about to continue my mental list of offenses I was interrupted by a girl standing in front of me with her hand out.
"Hey, my name is Claudia its nice to meet you." The beautiful girl holding her hand out to me greeted me as I shook her hand.
She was really beautiful, and didn't look very fake to me either. She had long brown hair that reached her waist and stunning big brown eyes.
