I kiss Armin on the forehead then saunter out of the classy apartment, my phone beeps, reminding me to stop by professor Zoe's office. I unlock my bike from the bicycle rack, pulling my bag on I start pedaling to campus. The misty weather making the ride even more undesirable.
Arriving at the building where Mrs. Zoe gives her lectures I stop and hurriedly put my bike in the rack and run into the building before it starts raining. Covered in sweat from the physical extortions I make my way to the elevators and hit the button corresponding to the desired floor. The wait seemed longer than usual, I check my watch only to realize it's missing. "Shit, I should've checked for it before I left..." I mumble, frustratedly.
Professor Zoe was sitting in her office grading papers when I stepped in, she looked up, smiling. "Eren, dear you are five minutes late!" Her shrill voice rang out. I quickly explain myself and she nods understanding that I don't have a car. She asks about Armin and I calmly explain he's still sick and I promise do would fill in for him to day.
We rush back outside to her car, and she drives me to what I assumed would be Ackerman Enterprises. She hands me a few papers that say who I am and why I'm here then sends me on my way.
Upon entering the building I'm greeted by many people with questioning words on my clothes, hair, and name. Someone named Annie, or something like that leads me up to the top floor and proceeds to instruct me on what Armin does.
Everything suddenly gets quiet as a short man walks in, without thinking, I open my mouth and, "Why did everyone get quiet?"
The man looked at me like I had disrespected his mother then in three strides he was standing in front of the desk I was sitting at. As he got closer I could see that he had gray blue eyes and an undercut. He bent down so he was at eyes level, my breathing accelerated. "Where's the blond coconut?" His question wasn't directed at me but at anyone who dared answer him. Annie's voice was the only one "he's sick again, his roommate is filling in."
Levi straightened his back and sternly said, "don't fuck anything up, shitty brat." Then calmly walked into his office and closed the doors.
