Getting lost in your own house is hard. It's even harder to get lost in your own head. Somehow I always manage to accomplish this in the times that it's most important to pay attention. Such as school. My school doesn't really understand me, no one does. It's just that staying in the moment is hard, just as hard as staying still, or staying quiet. Miss Blacks says that paying attention is important, but she doesn't know anything. Miss Blacks talks too The much, and makes comments when she really shouldn't. She's had to have a word with the headteacher a few times, and had to leave me on my own. It wasn't ever very long, but I hated it. I only managed to keep calm by watching the raindrops chase each other to the base of the window. Miss Blacks would always come back looking sad. She was the first to disappear, and wasn't the last.
