Dan walked up the stairs with roses in his hands and his heart on his sleeve. He slowly raised his hand and knocked on the door.

"Hello?" A woman opened the door.

Dan smiled, "Hi Mrs. Lester. Is Phil home?"

"Yes he is! He's doing homework at the moment. Let me go get him." She explained.

She disappeared up the stairs and seconds later Phil can hopping down the stairs.

"Oh, hey Dan!" He greeted.

I blushed a little bit, "Hey Phil. Can we, erm, talk?"

Phil stepped outside and shut the door behind him, "Of course!"

"Okay, so, I really like you. I don't know if you like me back, but I like really like you. I know we're friends and I cherish that so much and I don't think you understand what's really going on. There's just something about you that makes me so happy and I love being around you. Phil, I wanted to know if you would like to be my boyfriend." Dan breathed.

Dan handed Phil the flower that was in his hand and shot Phil a cute, awkward smile. Phil laughed and pulled Dan into a hug.

"I would love to be your boyfriend Dan."
