"WAKE UP BITCH!!" I buried my head further into my pillow as Mandi barged into my room.

"Go away." I thought she had left when I didn't hear her reply, but I was proven wrong when she began bouncing on my bed.

"Get up (Y/N/N)! It's like 2pm, you've had enough sleep."

"I don't care." She was still jumping on me and I was becoming more and more impatient. "Dee, I love you, but if you don't get off me and out of my room then I swear I'm going to throw you out my window!"

That got her to stop. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

"Whatever." After she left, I got comfy again and began to drift back to sleep. I had a late night, don't judge me. I was up until 6am writing some new songs for our band.

We go by the name 'LoudMouths', for obvious reasons. Mandi is our drummer, Connor is our keyboardist, Jamie is our bassist, and I play lead guitar and lead vocals, although all of us sing and can play multiple instruments. We jump around a lot to mix things up, it keeps our fans satisfied and shows that we're all a big part of the band, there is no leader.

I had almost fallen back asleep when I heard my door open. Just as I was about to go off on whoever it was, I felt freezing cold water thrown on me. I swear it's enough to fill a bathtub!

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I opened my eyes to see my three so called 'friends' and bandmates standing around me with empty buckets and big stupid grins on their faces. "Was that really necessary?"

"You should have gotten up when I told you." I lunged at her and threw her on my bed, which had a huge puddle on it. "(Y/N)!"

"Not so funny now, huh?" The guys burst into fits of laughter and me and Mandi glared at them. Within seconds they were running for their lives, out the door and down the stairs, with us hot on their tail.

After taking a hot shower and feeding my inner hunger monster, I hung my sheets out to dry. The rest of the band was in our basement / studio. Let me explain how we can afford our own studio.

About 18 months ago, we created our own YouTube channel and uploaded a bunch of covers along with some original songs. I guess people thought we were good because it didn't take long until we had a lot of subscribers and money coming our way.

The first thing we bought was our studio. It's nothing too fancy. On one side of the room is a recording booth, computers and other technical stuff and on the other side is where we film our performances. There's also couches and instruments scattered around the room.

When I walked in, they already had everything set up.

"Enjoy your second shower of the day?" Mandi asked with a stupid smirk plastered on her face.

"Shut up." They all laughed and I ended up laughing with them, after all it was kinda funny.

"Why were you so tired anyway?" Connor was the first one to recover from his laughter.

"I was up for hours writing new songs. I got a good few finished, but we still need to write music for them.

"Then we can just record our cover as planned so the fans still get an update." We all agreed with Jamie and took our positions behind the required instruments after setting up several cameras, for different views, and pressing record. We've been getting a lot of requests to cover 'Uptown Funk' so that's what we're doing. (Against The Current & Set It Off Version)
