"Natasha! Will you please stop it with this crazy stalker guy that you 'think' is following you! You're beyond pissing me off! I don't know what you want me to say. Mom and daddy are getting sick of you STILL going on about this! Its been what, three years now? I hate sharing a room with you. You're doing all this research all hours of the night... I can't take it anymore! I need to have an A in every class this semester or mom said I will have to stop cheer! And I can't NOT cheer! If you want to stay up all hours of the night that's fine, but do it somewhere else! I need to sleep, and not in class! If I get caught one more time I'll get detention. And then I'll get kicked off the team! I'm the head cheerleader for Christs sake! It took me three years to get here! Natasha, are you even listening to me!!!" Jessica shrieks. Honestly, I stopped listening after about five seconds of her little rant. I'm so used to this that it just goes in one ear and out the other. Mom and "daddy" are sick of my behavior? Well then, they should help me so that I can figure this out. But what do they do? Absolutely nothing while someone follows me. Has followed me for the past three years.
I've seen this guy at least twice a week since I was a freshman in high school. I'm a senior now. well, we're seniors now, Jessica and I. It's crazy to think that it was just a few short years ago that my whole life changed and no one in my family chooses to care. Only three people know about my life and the craziness that it has become. I have the best friends anyone could ask for. Isla, she's the brains of our little outfit. The Irish girl that has the brightest red hair in the school, naturally. A smattering of freckles and hazel eyes that could kill if necessary. Which, since my sister is the most popular girl in school, her eye daggers are always out and hunting for their next target. Then there is Eldon, the German. He will speak over you and not give it a second thought. If you're upsetting one of us, he has been known to throw more than a few punches. He was one of the "in" crowds most wanted, with his handsome face and chiseled jaw that always sports a five o'clock shadow, deep blue eyes that any girl would want to get lost in and dirty blonde skater hair that made you just want to run your hands through it. Did I mention the body of a god? Ayeshe was also an 'in' crowd girl. With her Indian black wavy hair that always looked perfect and black eyes that could pierce right through to your soul. She was on the cheer team with my sister, but when Jess got Head Cheerleader spot, she stopped going. And then there was me. Ordinary Jane. Nothing special. The only thing that I had going for me was my one of a kind ice blue eyes. Which scared most people.
Jessica stared at me while I got dressed and ready for school. "Is this what you're going to wear today? Its almost the same thing you wore yesterday! You look dirty! I can't wait to go off to college! I won't have to watch your sad, pathetic self wear the same crap every day. You don't even wear make up. You would look so much better with something to make those creepy ice eyes look less freaky. If only you would let me..." I really need to start tuning her out. Whenever I see her mouth open I just need to think of something else. Like my stalker. I put in my headphones and walk out the room while she is still talking to me from the closet. Eldon is waiting for me at the door. It's nice that he lives up the block. This way I don't have to hear Jessica nagging me the entire morning.
"Mom, Eldon is here. I'm leaving now. I'll talk to you when I get home. Jessica is still in the closet trying on all her clothes. Don't know why she bothers, considering she doesn't wear much anyways. If I see the guy today don't worry, I won't come home and tell you! Love you, bye!"
"Why do you always say that when you leave Tashy? You're mom doesn't seem to even care. Don't you think that it just grates her nerves?" Eldon says, in his perfect english, as I get in the comfort of his Black T-top Camaro with a white stripe down the middle.
"If I'm hurting her it would be news to me. Sometimes she answers 'ok honey just don't talk to him.' So in short, no I don't think I'm hurting her. Jess tried to change my clothes again. And do my make up. Why must my sister be the most popular girl in school? I can't wait for the four of us to go off to college together! It will be so much fun! No one will know me or Jess and they can make their own views of me.. Eldon... are you listening?" I look at him when he doesn't agree and see that he is staring ahead from where he is parked. And there he is, My stalker. So far no one has seen him but me. Casady, Eldon, and Ayeshe they know that I'm not crazy, but they never really believed me either. Well that's now changed. And Eldon now sees what he looks like. He's always wearing the same thing it seems. Black Leather jacket with a white snake on it and tight black pants with, what looks like, white and black checker converse. Hey, who said that creepy stalker guys can't look good? And he really pulled it off.
"Is that the guy? The stalker guy? I knew you weren't crazy Natasha, but I never really fully believed you until right now. I'm so sorry." Eldon looks at me. His beautiful eyes look sad.
"Its ok. I wouldn't have believed me either if it wasn't happening to me. But we are going to be late if we don't..." My sentence is lost while I stare ahead of us. As this guy that has stalked me for the past three years starts to walk toward the car. "GO!!!! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" I yell at Eldon who is so scared that he can't even shift the car from park. I look back at the road and the stalker guy is gone. I have a small sigh of relief, when there is a tapping at my window. And its him. I scream and go to lock the door. But he already has it open.
Those eyes, their my eyes. That ice blue that looks like crystal. When I look at my eyes in the mirror I feel like a ghost. But while I stare into this boys eyes, I feel comfort. Like I will be safe with him. "Natasha? Are you ok? My name is James." My stalker guy says as he pushes his hand out to shake mine.
"Who are you? What do you want? I don't have money! I don't have anything worth anything! I'm not worth anything! I'm sure if you steal me you wouldn't get much! My family would barely notice my absence! Please just leave me alone!" I yell at him while staring from his out stretched hand to my eyes in his head. " Please just leave me alone!" I start to sob
"I'm sorry but I can't. Your mine."
