She was the one he wasted during their highschool. The one who was treated unwanted and unloved. How about a reunion after? Is she gonna step back? Or conquer the beast?

Maaga siyang nagising dahil alam niyang eto na ang araw na ayaw man niyang dumating ay mapipilitan pa din siyang harapin.

She sighed for nth time as she walk gracefully in her kitchen wearing some nighties only.

She was preparing for her morning coffee when her phone started ringing.

"Hello? Xena are you attending the reunion tonight?"

Bahagya naman akong tumango.

"As if I have a choice. Alam kong di mo ako titigilan, kilala kita Ida." nakataas pang bahagya ang kilay ko.

Tumawa naman ang nasa kabilang linya bago nagsalitang muli.

"Alright. I just called to tell you na formal attire ang theme ng reunion at 6:00 pm dahil gaganapin naman yon sa hotel nila Brent so no worries for the rooms if ever na gusto mong doon nalang din matulog."

"And also that guy is coming."

Di pa man ako nakakasagot ay naputol na ang linya.

Agad kong nilibot ang tingin ko sa bahay ko. I tried my best to make my house feels comfy but yet again namimiss ko din maghotel. Yet naiinis ako kasi makikita ko na naman ang lalaking yon.

"Well it was fine I guess"

Habang nagkakape ay kinuha ko ang laptop ko para mareplyan ang mga e-mail ng mga stockholder. Agad ko ding tinawagan ang secretary ko.

"Goodmorning Mam Xena! what can i do for you?"

Humigop muna ako ng kape bago nagsalita.

"Cancel all my meeting starting from 12 pm today." sabi ko habang nagtatype sa laptop.

"I get it. how about business call?"

"You manage it. Kapag importante doon mo lang sabihin sa akin."

"Alright. Is today the reunion of your highschool classmates?"

Bahagya naman akong napatigil at napakunot noo ng maalala ko ang highschool life ko.

"Uhuh. Sadly I need to attend it and I have to make interactions with those people."

Natawa naman siya sa sinabi ko.

"Xena you have to face them and make them feel small of what you are now."

Napangalumbaba naman akong sumagot sa kanya.

"I don't like bragging."

Natawa naman uli ito.

"I know but you've grown after that highschool tragedy. You became a gorgeous person that everyone wants but when it comes to business a person you can't mess up with."

Nakatitig pa din ako sa kawalan bago sumagot.

"I know that but I still can't remove the pathetic face of that person who cause all this shit on me."
