Sister?

I look down at the map the strange man had given me. This must be the place. I look back at the shrine. I walk a little closer and see a man with white hair, white fox ears, and a white fox tail. He stares at me. "Hello? Is Nanami here, sir?" I call out. He tilts his head, looking unamused. "Who asks?" He says. "I'm Yuki, I'm her sister." I say as I step closer to him. "I don't have a sister." I hear as a girl steps beside him. "Nanami!" I exclaim as I jump into her arms, hugging her tightly. "Um, I'm sorry, who are you?" Nanami asks. "Ah, yes. I am Yuki. Your father and my mother met and had me...To be honest, I was unexpected. A year ago, they both left me to fend for myself when we were evicted. I remember dad having pictures of you, so I came to see you. I want to stay with you, Nanami-Chan!" I explain.

She stares at me. "Dad...He...He cheated on Mom?" I see tears form in her eyes. "Don't worry, before he left me, I gave him a real beating for payback when I found out he was a cheater. On someone so sick, and she sounded like such a lovely woman." I frown and tempt to comfort her. She wipes her eyes and stands tall. "Well, come in and tell me more about yourself." She smiles as she leads me inside. "Now hang on!" The fox man stops us, " You just met this girl who claims she is your younger sibling and you are letting her in your life? I will not allow this!" Nanami whispers something to him, I can't hear what she says. "Now, move Tomoe." She says and pulls me into her shrine.

I look around as we sit in her room. "Now, tell me about yourself." She smiles. "Well, my mother told I was unexpected and daddy didn't want me at first. She first didn't know why until the year when...you know...Anyway, she stayed with him, she knew about you, but never told me until last year. So, last month we were evicted because my mom and our dad have their gambling habits and they made me fend for myself. My mom told me about you and now here I am!" I explain. "Oh wow. That's a really long story." She says, "Well, your free to stay here. You can stay with me in my room."

Her door bursts open and reveals the fox man known as Tomoe. "I absolutely will not allow this! If she is staying here she can stay in my room where I can watch her at all time." He declares. "Oh please, you just want to play with her." A boy with white hair and green eyes says as he leans on a wall behind him. "Shut it, you immature snake! Why the hell would I what that?" Tomoe growls "Stop it, both of you!" Nanami demands. I can't help but laugh. Tomoe glares at me as I snicker at Nanami's outburst. "Yuki, you can stay here." Nanami-Chan smiled as Tomoe and the other boy stare. She introduced me properly to the boy known as Mizuki. Then the spirits, Ketetsu and Onikiri. "Are you exchanging to my school?" Nanami asks, I nod and she smiles, "Do you need a uniform?" I nod again. She hands me one of her uniforms, "School is tomorrow. It's getting late so let's get some sleep." She says as she stretches and lays down, falling asleep quickly and I follow.
