"Get up!" Tomoe says as he pulls me up. I smack his hand away, "I can get up on my own, dipshit." I growl. "Well, you certainly have a mouth on you." He mocks. He hides a smile behind that stupid fan of his. He leaves so Nanami and I get ready for school. ((Makeup on Yuki is above)) I do my make up as Nanami watches me carefully. I look at her, "Is makeup not allowed at school Onee-Chan?" She shakes her head. "No, just, you look so pretty." She smiles. "I could do your makeup if you want." I offer. She shakes her head, "Makeup isn't really my thing." I sighed, "Okay."

Before we leave, Tomoe stops Nanami and hands her a stupid looking hat. "Don't forget this." He says. Nanami sighs and takes the hat, about to walk out the door, but I grab her arm, stopping her. "She'll be safe with me." I say as take the hat and toss it at him. "A simple human like you can not protect a useless human like her." Tomoe says as he catches the hat with one swipe.  I smirk and my fangs show, "I am not a simple human. My mother is the a vampire. I'm only half human." I feel Tomoe's eyes piercing me. "You're not after my blood are you?" Nanami shrinks, terrified, I could tell. I sighed and hugged her, "Nanami, please do not fear me. I love you, I will not take your blood. You are my sister. I could never do that, besides. I do not drink blood. I settle with a supplement. I'm here to protect you." I say.

Later, when at school, I sat next to Nanami. She keeps asking questions about my supplement, I answer her. I can tell she's still a little scared, but she's starting to understand. I feel someone hovering over me and Nanami falls silent. Without turning around I sigh and say, "Can I help you, sir?" The boy then leans on my desk and smiles, "Who's your friend Nanami?" I look at him and smile politely, "I'm Nanami's younger sister, Yuki. Nice to meet you, sir." He chuckles, "No need to be so formal. I'm Kurama, the famous pop star." I sigh, "Kurama?" He nods. " I've never heard of you." I see everything in him shatter. "Never...Heard...Of me?" He stammers. "Kidding! I love your music." I giggle. "A little prankster, huh? Good luck, Nanami." He sighs and walks to his seat as a crowd of girls surround him.

At lunch time, Nanami and I sit with the famous Kurama. "I'm sorry if I seemed rude earlier, I just wanted to joke around." I apologize. "Don't worry about it, it was fine." Kurama smiles. "Yuki, do you like him?" Nanami whispers in my ear, making sure Kurama does not hear. I smile and nod. She smiles, "Well, I need to go do homework, you two get to know each other." And with that she leaves me and Kurama alone. I face-palm, doesn't she realize that she might get in big trouble if she is on her own? She's got guts, I'll give her that. While I am thinking, Kurama puts his arm around me. "So, where you from, blood sucker?"

I gasp, "How the hell did you know that?" He laughs and says, "You stink of dead. And Nanami. You've been stealing her blood, haven't you?" He smirks as he pulls me close. "Never! And I'm only half vampire, Nanami's father was a human." I explain my whole story and what I told Nanami. "Anyway, about earlier, to make it up to you, how about I make you dinner or something?" I say, I still feel bad for being mean. "I told you it was fine, but I wouldn't mind if you made me dinner at my place." He says as he leans close to my face. I feel blush appear on my cheeks, Kurama smiles at this. "I guess, um...when?" I reply. "Tonight. Meet me after school at the entrance. I will give you ride. Plus, we could come to get to know one another." He smiles, stands, and holds his hand out to me, "We should head to class." I take his hand and we walk to class together.
