Chapter 3

I turned around and there he was. I ran as fast as I could, trying to get away from him, I was falling into a joke. Who does that? It ain't fair, I was so looking forward to being Tom's girlfriend, but no he made it all a joke.

I stayed in the toilets all lunch, waiting for that bell. Finally I say in my head. I speed walked to my locker trying to avoid everyone, even my best friends, I just wanted to be alone right now. I wish I was in my bed eating chocolate curled up listening to music, but no I'm in class sitting by myself.

Than reality hit! "Stephanie, what is the capital of Italy?" Ms Ryan said.

"Hello, Stephanie. Stephanie go outside, you need some fresh air you look a little pale." She said.

"Yeah sure Miss, thanks a lot." I replied.

I'm sitting outside and guess who had to walk pass, Harrison. "Hey Stephanie, did you say yes to Tom?" He said.

"Umm no, he totally just set me up, he said to meet up at 1:00pm sharp, I was waiting there for 15 minutes and of course it was a setup, no one could like me!!" I said, a tear started rolling down my face.

"No, no, no, I promise you right now he would never do that. I promise you. He is a sweet, happy and cute guy, a girl's prince charming. Talk to him tonight and sort it out." Harrison said.

"No! I can't he has ruined everything, he is probably telling everyone, he might even have it on tape." I quickly ran.

Harrison ran after me, he said "He would never do this."

He caught up to me. He sat me down and gave me a hug and it was a very long one. Guess who walks pass us as Harrison is giving me a hug? Tom. I looked at him with tears rolling down my eyes, than again I ran. I ran around the corner.

I hear Tom say "Were you hitting on her or being a friend?"

"A friend. Tom I would never do that to you. She thinks you set her up that you taped the whole thing. Where were you Tom?"

"I had a detention. You know I'm not that sort of guy. Did you try and tell her that I would never do that." Tom said, he started to get upset you could tell in his voice.

"Dude, I got your back." Harrison exclaimed.

*a couple of hours later*

As soon as I got home last night I turned my phone off.

I went to sleep for about 2 hours and wake up to my mum "Honey dinner!"

"I'm not hungry!!" I yell. My mum is a single parent the best you could ever meet.

I hear foot steps leading to my door, than it opens.

"Ok start talking, what's going on?" My mum said.

I told her the full story. After I told her, she got her phone out and searched "Tom Jay Williams."

"He is a spunk, honey maybe Harrison is telling the truth. Trust your instinks, if your heart says no well no, if it says yes, go for it babe." She said with a smile on her face.

"I'll see." I gave her a kiss and I went to bed.
