Chapter 1 - Sahpiro, Miraj, Anara, Lunace And Lanasha
Recap: Last book, five girls come together and form the new Winx Club, as the old ones retired. Now they're back for a sequel.
(Sahpiro)
"Well, it's nice to see you've changed your mind." I said sarcastically walking into Anastasia's room to see her unpacking. "This is what, the fifteenth time today?"
"Oh shut it!" Anastasia flopped on her bead.
"Look, you never promised me you'd go, and I won't make you. But what I want to know is, why say you were going to, then just...change your mind?" It'd been like this for a while now. Anastasia was offically enrolled in Alfea, courtesy of Miss Feragonda, the small problem was she constantly flipped between regretting it and going forward.
"You wouldn't understand." Anastasia grabbed a pillow and hugged it.
"I'm your older sister. I'm supposed to understand what goes on inside your blue head."
"But you don't." The 16-year-old fairy retaliated.
"Well, then." I said calmly. "It would be valiantly appreciated if you would enlighten me."
"But I won't"
"Anastasia, you sound like a five-year-old at this stage."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"Only if you make it one," There was a pause, then I continued "So, why?"
"You'll laugh at me."
"No I won't, I'll help you."
"Okay maybe not laugh, but..." She drifted off into her own mind, she seemed to be doing that more constantly as of late.
"But what?" I wasn't giving up easily, my younger sister would have realised by now.
"You'll..." she continued, but in an unaudible way.
"You're going to have to speak up, sis."
Anastasia sighed, "I don't want to be around a bunch of judgemental...optimists!" She said the last word like it was a bad thing, but I thought it best not to press the issue.
"Well, in my honest opinion, I'm quite sure you'll be able to find some lovely cynical friends to rant about the world with." I smiled "And who cares who judges you, Anastasia. You're probably going to be the best in your year - heck, the entire school!"
"Does that mean you think that I'm better than you?" The blue-haired sister of mine smugly pointed out.
"Pretty much." Anastasia looked much brighter at this comment.
"Even after Cloud Tower?"
"That doesn't count."
"Yes it does."
"You're starting to sound like a five year old at this stage." I said with a flair of repetition
"Is that a bad thing?" Anastasia was still trying to win this conversation.
"So are you going?" I asked ignoring her previous comment.
"Yes, I'll go to Alfea."
"Is that a promise?"
"I don't like promises." There was another pause, this time longer "And I don't intend to hand any out."
"But you'll go?" I said hopefully. She just smiled.
"Get out, sis." And with that hurling comment, I walked out.
But of course, I had other battles to fight some with blonde hair.
