Wake Me Up From This Nightmare

Regina kept running and running through a dark forest. Her mother was following her trying to take away all of her happiness. She fell to the ground and got up as fast as she could.

She then bumped into someone and that someone was Captain Hook. "Are you alright, love? You seem a bit shaken up." He asked with a smirk. But it wasn't the mischievous and loving smirk she was used to get from him, no, it was the evil smirk he would give to Black Beard.

"Killian, we have to run!" Regina said desperately yet terrified. But Hook didn't move a muscle, he just stood there and looked at her with cold eyes.

"I don't think so, love. The only way to get rid of all of the problems is for us to get rid of you." And with that he stabbed her with his hook.

She gasped for air and realized she was at the stables. Cora was standing in front of Daniel pulling out his heart and crushing it. Over and over again this happened. Regina could only stare and cry every time her mother killed him.

Then he turned to look at her and with cold tone he said. "Thanks to you I got killed!" He kept repeating this again and again. He walked closer and started to choke her. Then everything went black.

Robin, Emma, Snow, David, and Hook saw as doctors rushed into the room they were told was Regina's. They all got up from their chairs and ran to one of the doctors.

"What is happening?!" Robin asked.

"She is going on cardiac arrest. If we don't do anything we are going to lose her." The doctor said and followed the others inside.

Snow shook her head. "This can't be happening. Someone please tell me this is just a bad dream." She said.

"We can't. This is the new reality and our job is to help her as much as we can." Emma said determined to help her friend.

"You are right. Right now we need focus on helping Regina." Robin said.

After a few anxious minutes the doctor finally went to them. They all stood up and started asking questions.

Whale raised his hands up. "Everyone calm down. Her majesty is fine. We did everything and now we just have to wait for her to wake up." He said.

"Thank you, mate. Can we see her?" Hook asked. Whale nodded.

"Yes, but only one at a time." He said and with that he left.

"I'll go first." Hook said and without waiting for a reply he left. When he walked inside the room his heart broke when he saw Regina laying in a bed with her skin pale and looking helpless. He sat down on the chair next to her bed and grabbed her hand. "I am so sorry, love. I... Umm... I want to thank you for saving Emma and taking this bloody curse yourself. I also wanted to apologize for breaking your resilient heart. I know that I wasn't the first one to break it... But it wasn't fair for me to fix it and then crush it to shreds. I'm glad you found love again, though... Even if he also did hurt you." Killian laughed bitterly. "I wanted to punch him so bad when Emma told me what he did. But don't worry my sweet dear, you two are meant to be. What it's meant to happen it will happen and I'll be right beside you when you need me and when you don't. I care about you, my dear Queen." He kissed her knuckles. "I will never stop caring. I love you, my only true friend." He let go of her hand and got up. With one last look at her he left.

He found Robin standing outside the room. "So, you two were together?" Robin asked without looking at him.

"Aye." Was all Hook said.

"Did you love her?"

"With all my dark heart."

"Then why did you leave her?"

Hook shrugged. "I didn't. I did something way worse."

Robin looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "And what would that be?"

"I betrayed her." He said and looked at Robin straight in the eyes. "It was the worst mistake I ever made."

"I understand." Robin said.

"Of course you do. Because you did the same but worst than me." Hook said a bit angry. "You chose stupid honor over the so call love you have for her. You slept with your 'wife' in less than a month after you left town. When it turned out that it was Zelena you suddenly wanted to be with Regina. Emma told me what you said to her when she tried to tell you who 'Marian' really was. You hurt her worse than I did and I wanted to punch you or kill you, but I know she loves you and all I want for her is happiness. I am warning you, mate... If you hurt her one more time my hook will be on your chest." Hook said and with that he walked away.

Robin stood there for a few minutes, Hook was right, he had hurt Regina in a horrible way and he was so scared about losing her. He took a deep breath and walked inside the room with his head and heart fill with emotions.

He took the seat that was next to her bed and grabbed the same hand Hook had grabbed a few moments ago.

"I want to apologize, my love. For everything. For choosing honor over love... For not believing when you told me the truth about Marian... For sleeping with who I thought was my wife so fast after leaving... Truth is I don't deserve you and all I want is for you to be happy." His voice shook as he looked at her. She was pale and looked lifeless hooked on so many machines and tubes. "You deserve all the happiness in the world and all the love... I am so sorry... So very sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen. For that and so much more I apologize. I don't expect you to forgive me... But I do hope you do." He kissed her hand and got up with a heavy heart. Snow was leaning against the door frame with tears running down her cheeks. He walked over to her and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, giving her what he hoped was a reassuring smile as he left.

Snow walked in with tears in her eyes. She sat down on the chair that Robin had sat on, and looked at her stepmother.

"I never meant for it to go this far... Maybe if I hadn't told Cora about Daniel none of this would have happened. I will not apologize though. I will not apologize because if I hadn't Henry would have never existed. We found a way to help you, actually two ways. One is for me to help you control your new darkness and to go and find Merlin. Well they are actually one way but still." Snow said with a sad smile. "We will save you, Regina."

Suddenly the lights started to flicker and the ground started to shake. Snow couldn't see anything at all since a black mist appeared and started to surround Regina. Then just as fast as it happened, it stopped. Snow took a look at the bed and Regina was no longer there. Emma, Hook, Robin, David, and Henry ran in.

"What the hell just happened?!?" Emma asked looking around. "And where's Regina?"

"I don't know. But whatever it was it's not good." Snow mumbled.

"We need to find her!" Hook said in an firm tone.

"I agree with the pirate." David said with a nod of his head. Hook looked at him with a smug smile.

"I told you I will win you over." David just glared at him.

"Where could she be?" Robin asked looking around the now broken and messed up room.

"We don't know. I have the feeling that when we find out we are not going to like it. At all." Emma said.

"That's right, dearies, you won't. And for the first time I am just as lost as all of you but I am willing to help." Rumple said from the doorway that he was leaning on.

"Let's get started. We need to find my mom as soon as possible." Henry said.
