He started to sense that aura from far away. An enourmous, powerful and scary aura.

Could that be Pitou?  He asked himself, more and more worried. No, it can't be... Her aura is different. But then... Pining, he sped up, pushing his Godspeed to his limits.

When Killua found him, he froze. What he saw was the silhouette of one utterly unlike that of his friend.

"What the heck... Is that?!" he asked, stopping himself. Then he came to the horrifying realization:  "Gon!"

Gon was repeatedly hitting something to the ground, in a extraordinarily rough manner. "Jan...Ken..." The target was the royal guard, who laid in a terrible state, her head entirely crushed.

Killua watched the scene with his eyes widened, incapable of thinking of others than his friend.

"Kite" said the black-haired boy "I finished her off, just as you taught me."

"Is that you..." Killua hesitated. "Is that you, Gon?" he asked, giving himself an answer as the other turned towards him. "Killua..." Gon was different. Well, different was an understatement.

He was three times taller than usual, had muscles that he should have taken years, no, decades of very hard training to obtain. His hair was really long, and kept straight on his head by his aura. He was grown up, as if he came from the future.

He was crying.

The white-haired boy immediately thought of Biscuit, but he could tell there was something different. Biscuit just changes her appearance, it's not like the aura within her explosively increases as well. Besides, Biscuit returnes to her true form after! He thought. But Gon's done the exact opposite! How many years...?! Ten?! Twenty?! It should have taken him years and years of endless training to reach this form!!

Gon... What did you have to pay to get an aura this powerful? An infinite sadness invaded him, in addition to the concern for his friend. The transformation must be irreversible... Was it really necessary? Why? Why do you always have to do everything by yourself?

Suddenly, a silhouette behind the black-haired boy rose from the ground. Pitou's devotion to the King was so great that even after her death, her terpsichora, driven by her immense Nen, became a zombie, bent on Gon's destruction.

The boy was looking at his new form for the first time, and silent tears were flowing from his sad eyes.

But Killua was perfectly alert. He understood Pitou's intentions and dashed to Gon, pushing him away.
