Author's Note
Hey guys! This is my first book so I'm excited yet nervous, but i don't like to rant so this chapter is long but this is going to be like the only one that is this long. Sorry loves but please enjoy.
******************************************My eyes slowly opened hearing my alarm blare into my ear. I grabbed the clock viscously and chucked it across my room knowing the distance was short because of how little weak I am. Seeing it just a couple of feet away from me angered me more, snatching off the blanket and slump to the bathroom. I almost scared myself just looking at the bird nest that laid on top of my head. How do I manage to bring this hell to my head when I fell asleep with it nicely combed? The idea of me tossing and turning brought a giggle to my lips soon making me laugh even harder. I was such an embarrassment even to myself I couldn't stop laughing till I felt something slippery under my foot cashing me to fall back and crash against the wall.
Annoyingly rubbing my head I forgot that I had the sink running and due to my horribly clogged sink of I don't know what, the water rushed over causing a puddle.
"Shit," I mumbled
Having no idea what to clean it up with I just threw an old shirt on it and ignored it. Hey water turns in to water vapor it will dry by itself.
"Stephanie!!!! We're going to be late for school!"
Hearing my brother, Eric, I hurried and threw some clothes on forgetting all about my hair and ran down stairs.
"I'm ready" I shouted running down the steps trying not to tripEric turned to me and his eyes widened look straight at my hair. And soon burst out into laughter.
"What?" I asked watching him carefully and confused as to why he is laughing. Before he could answer I saw the kitchen clock showing that we were late and I ran to his car. Strapping my seatbelt and shouting out to Eric to hurry up.
He jumped in opening the dashboard and handing me a brush.
I was so confused then looked at the rear view mirror showing my horrid hair. This has become a daily thing I should just shave off all my hair and never have to worry about it again.
"Stephanie why don't you wake up early?""Every minute is important in my beauty sleep schedule. Do you want me to look like the walking dead?"
"No... but if anything it does help you not walk around with a stick up your ass"
I glared at him."I DON'T NOT WALK AROOUND WITH A STICK UP MY ASS!'
"If you say so..." He said chucklingI huffed and turned from him looking out the window as we headed to school. I'm not cranky in the morning. I'm a very happy person. He has no right to even label a characteristic of me in the morning. I felt his eyes on me every minute but I just ignored it giving him my famous silent treatment.
As soon as I saw the school come in play I decided to scare Eric as punishment. I watched as he slowed down to 5 mph, then with a smirk glued to my face I opened the door and jumped out of the car causing Eric to immediately stop. I ran to the entrance of the school hearing Eric curse me out and how dangerous that was and I could have gotten killed blah blah blah. It was 5 mph not like we were on the highway or something.
Walking towards my locker I saw a familiar face running up to me. Brittany."Hey Bri" I said smiling up at her
"Stephanie about time so did you hear about the news"
