She took me into this room.
By what I saw through the window, it already was around 5 am.
It was cold and creepy. It had a squared table with two chairs, I sat down and immediately asked for my dad.
She didn't even answer my question and just said "Taylor, Taylor Stevens is your real name."
I didn't get the chance to say anything when she continued talking.

"When you were 2 years old, about to turn 3 you were abducted from your parents. The person you believe is your father is your kidnapper."

I wanted to laugh but she didn't seem to be joking. So I kept a serious but worried expression on my face. I once again asked for my dad and told her that I just wanted to go home.
She instantly told me that I was going to be able to leave very soon. That I was leaving but to a new house with a new family.

I thought this joke was going very far, so I said it must've been a glitch or a mistake.
Sarah, the lady from the children's protective services, showed me the mugshot and fingerprints I got taken last night. Then put a picture of me when I was little and little fingerprints next to it.
They were very similar.
I wondered why I had never seen that picture and when and where they took it.
I was like 2 years old with short, light, brown hair wearing a white dress with pink flowers. It looked like I was in a park or a backyard.
My thoughts were interrupted when she told me that picture was taken a few days before I was abducted. And that those fingerprints were lifted from my toys before i was kidnapped.
I couldn't believe how similar they were.
I was on the verge of tears but I decided to hold them back and tell her it was impossible.
That my dad would never do that.
She said that people kidnapped all the time for all type of reasons.
I was already crying when I said that even if that was true I wouldn't care, I'd still love him the same.
My dad was my only family. No siblings. No aunts or uncles. Nothing. He told me that they lived far away on the South. But I didn't care because I had him. My only family.

Sarah told me to understand that I wasn't going to be able to see or live with him. She than got interrupted by a phone call and just said "she's ready".
